We Choose Our Reality

Written by Gary Wonning

Each one of us experiences reality in a slightly different ways depending on our life experiences, our environment and even our personal likes and dislikes play into our perception.

The differences may be tiny, such as what kind of foods we like and how we perceive their taste, to much larger issues such as our political and religious views.

Our perception is no different than if we both sit side by side at a ball game, based on which team we are rooting for, our perception of a referees call can be entirely different. One of us may be cheering, while the other is booing. So it is in daily life, our reality is based on many factors.

We attract into our lives the reality we want or need to experience, sometimes on a conscious level and often times it is done unconsciously by our subconscious mind creating events or persons to enable us to learn various life changing events.

Several years ago, my ex-wife and I were living just a few miles apart in a rural area. Despite the fact we were living so close and I would drive within just a couple of miles from her home to work every day, and we shopped at the same stores and went to many of the same social functions, we never saw each other.

We had subconsciously timed our lives to never meet, there was no need, the lessons had been learned.

And obviously, she may have a different perspective on this.

Many times we will go many years in our life without meeting someone who lives just around the block from us. Until a certain point in our life, we had no need to meet them, we were both off in our own life living and meeting people on a daily basis who were important to us at that particular time in our life.

Sudden an event takes place that places us in the same time and physical plane.

Many times we are amazed that we have lived so closely and never met.

This can have various effects on our life, it may just be a moment in time for us to contemplate how we could live so closely and have never met, or it could lead to a lifetime friendship, depending on what spirit has in mind for us.

We chose our life and the events in it, either consciously or subconsciously, when the events occur subconsciously, it is our Super Consciousness, or Christ Consciousness creating the atmosphere to make it all happen.

It is still our decision, it is just our Christ Consciousness lining up all the players in our little scenario.

Our Christ Consciousness is our connection to Divine Being, or God, and because of it our reality is created.

We may live in nearly the same reality, but our perception of it is entirely different from anyone else’s. No two souls ever see things entirely in the same light.

It’s enough to drive you bonkers.

His travels have taken him to most of the United States, as well as Australia, Belize, Egypt and the Canary Islands.

He has studied the Mayan culture of Central America and the aborigines of

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

In technology, we have made advances far superior to those that came before us, but, we have lagged behind in gaining or maintaining our spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

The Path To Enlightenment

Written by: Gary Wonning

Enlightenment comes in small steps, not giant leaps, it is by these small steps that we evolve spiritually, so it was with my first experiences with past life recall. Although at the time neither myself, or the people that I was sharing this with realized what this all meant, every one of us were taught something and our values and beliefs were forever changed.

A New World is Revolving

It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear, this always is true. However, in most cases, it is hard to distinguish the teacher from the student. The student and teacher are one, and as such the combined intellect becomes available to the group as a learning experience that can be shared equally, based on the perceptibly of the individual parties concerned.

Follow Your Instincts

Writtten by : Gary Wonning

I feel most people know more about God when they were five years old than we do now after years of false indoctrination. It seems crazy, but when I need to know what the truth  really is, I go inside myself back to that five-year-old child, and ask him what is true. He tells me because he hasn’t yet been fed all of the dogma that the churches have been feeding us for the last two thousand years.

A journey of spiritual discovery

I’m not saying that everything the world’s religions teach is unfounded and untrue; they do teach a lot of valid truth, most of which teaches us good practical information on how to live a happy and successful life.

But a lot of times it gets twisted and shaped to fit a particular dogma or need and a lot of times the powers in control are serving their own agendas rather than the needs of their congregations.

Each and every one of us, before accepting any belief, or spiritual or moral value, should use our own good judgment and common sense and not go blindly by what someone else has determined to be the truth.

We are not lost sheep, destined to follow whoever or whatever belief comes along, rather we are thinking, reasoning light beings capable of making our own sensible well-thought-out decisions based on our own logic. Each and every soul is connected to the God Source and is capable of determining what its connection is.

We are here to guide and counsel our fellow human beings; we are not here to force or coerce anyone to do anything. If each and every one of us would remember, and practice this, the world would be a lot better place.

It All Makes Sense

Written by: Gary Wonning

My interest had been sparked; I read every book I could find on everything from reincarnation to UFO‘s. I just knew instinctively that everything I was reading was true or had some piece of truth in it. It was the only thing I had ever read that made sense; I had been trying, with little success, to make sense of what I had been taught in Sunday school.

It wasn’t that the church leaders were lying to us; they were just repeating what they had been taught and believed.

But it didn’t matter how I rationalized it or tried to make it fit in, it just didn’t make sense, there had to be more to the story. I had tried many times to just go along, to go with the program and think that these people, because they were supposedly more educated than I, knew more about religion and God than I did.

I was to find over time that education, and, or our station in life really had no bearing on how intelligent we are, each and every one of us has the same opportunity to gain knowledge and sometimes when we become educated by others, we only learn what they teach us and we forget to think for ourselves.

A New World Opens Before Me

Any story should start at the beginning, but since there really is no beginning to life, just a continuum of experiences or lives, I will begin in the year 1982. It was a period in time in which I was mildly dissatisfied with life.

Life had been good, I had all the material things we needed or wanted, a house that was paid for, three lovely daughters, a swimming pool, two car garage, everything but a white picket fence. I had a marriage that wasn’t very happy or fulfilling for either of us, but we stayed together, always hoping it would get better.

YOUR FAVORITE ONLINE PARANORMAL STORE

Only 38 years old, I had accomplished quite a lot, but I began to wonder what life was “really” all about. I knew it had to be about more than a two car garage and a picket fence, (which I didn’t have). I also began to sense I should be spending more time reading and enjoying life, which for me was extremely hard to do. I always had to be doing something, to be physically active; reading seemed like a total waste of time.

I soon discovered one should never ignore the urgings of the soul, if ignored, they will manifest in some way that is not as pleasant as if one had paid heed and been more attentive.

Worldwide Karma and the Coming New Age

Written by: Gary Wonning

It should only be expected that there would be much turmoil in the present day world. Not only is the present discord caused by various factions in society that think they are entitled to everything under the sun just because they breathe, there is also a more ominous reason for the unrest.

Planet earth is entering a new era of consciousness brought on as we enter the age of Aquarius.

Approximately every two thousand years the earth enters into a new sign of the Zodiac as it makes it journey through the cosmos. The effects of this began being felt on or about 1976 and will continue on for another few years.

We are entering an era when all karma will be resolved and we can once again begin anew our quest for knowledge and enlightenment.

As we enter this new phase, all must deal on one level of consciousness or another the perceived karma we have built up over the last two thousand years.

Just as Jesus was able to absolve all karma when he came two thousand years ago, so will a renewal of his consciousness once again enable us to resolve past karma.

However, this time, we humans need to play a more active role and resolve the issues on our own instead of relying on another soul to do it for us. Jesus showed us the way, it is up to each individual soul to reach a higher level of understanding of his teachings.

We have reached a period in evolution where we are individually able to resolve our karma and move on without the aid of someone else. In fact, in reality, that is the only way karma can ever be released, through our own thought processes. We are our own judge and we must forgive ourselves for supposed transgressions.

photo of the sphinx against an Egyptian sunset

A journey of spiritual discovery

The whole world is experiencing karma. Each race, creed, and gender is dealing with issues from the past we may or may not have done. We are all dealing with our karmic past, white, blacks, men, women, that is why there is such turmoil.

It will continue until each and everyone of us has confronted the issues and dealt with them on an individual basis.

We are living in the last days as foretold in the bible, but it is an individual thing, not a world wide issue, except in the way we individually deal with it.

Peace will come individually, while one may experience peace and understanding, there will be others who are in turmoil until every soul attains self-realization.

In other words, the world isn’t going to end and we all aren’t going to die. Only our perception of life will change and with it will come a new age of enlightenment.

Guidance from A Past Life Recall

photo of the Egyptian sphinx with a sunset in the background

The setting sun behind the Sphinx

Written by: Gary Wonning

Sometimes we need to go back to the past to find our future.

Most of may think we need to be rich and famous to make a difference in the world. This isn’t always the case, sometimes our goal is to help those who are in a better position in life to make the changes. We don’t always choose to be the leaders, many times we chose a lesser role in able to enjoy life more with the things that matter, like family and friends.

We can choose to play a role in others lives, let them do the footwork and we can sit back and relax a little, we don’t always need to spend every lifetime in the forefront of the world’s activities. We all need to learn to function in a supporting role as well as being the leaders.

Willard, who occasionally confides in me relates an interesting past life session he recently had.

He had regressed back to 1865 when he was fifteen years old. It was September 15, and his birth was in 1850 on the 6th of March.

He lived as a fisherman in the tiny village of Palik, Tahiti. He relates that he was also a spiritual teacher and healer. He healed many in his village and received little fanfare as a result.

He changed the lives of many people without preaching from the mountaintops. I think that is what is intended for most of us.

One on one contact is still the best and most efficient method to use to reach the masses. Just like in network marketing, you get one and they get one. soon, everyone is involved.

An Interesting Thought on the Last Days

Art Prints

Written by: Gary Wonning

The Spirit promised that at the end of days everyone will be resurrected  back into their bodies and will hear the purpose of life. It is when souls will be judged according to their deeds.

The  bible  teaches that when Christ returns every soul shall rise from the grave.

I have often read that many believe every soul that has ever incarnated on earth has to return during the twentieth or twenty-first century. Possibly, that day has come, the massive increase in worldwide population could be evidence of it.

The large increase in the population of the earth during this time attests to the fact that may be true. Our earth’s population is definitely been on the rise for the last several hundred years , one reason is that because of advanced  medical  technology  people are leading longer and more productive lives. Many that once died in childbirth or during their early formative years are now living to adulthood and beyond, making it possible for them to learn many more life experiences than they were previously able to .

What if  both trains of thought are correct and are talking about the same event, but from a different angle?

Many religious people, including the Mormons, believe we are in the last days. Several ancient calendars such as the Maya, Hopi, Cherokee and others have recently come to an end. All these signs definitely point to the possibility that we ae indeed in the last days.

Does that mean we are all doomed, or that Christ is finally returning? Maybe or maybe not.

Normally when mankind thinks an event is certain to occur, it never happens.

Even Nostradamus’s predictions are more accurate in hindsight than foresight, the same can be said of many current sages. The truth is when we become aware of a certain prediction, the mere thought of it changes the outcome.

I don’t believe we are all going to die in the next few years unless death comes to us naturally, like it always has.

Is Christ going to return? I don’t know. What I do know, regardless of whether or not Christ does return, our destiny is determined by what we do, not by what someone else does or doesn’t do.

The setting sun behind the Sphinx

We are entering a new era, an era of enlightenment. The earth is shifting its perspective, and all souls are also changing their line of thought. In the process, we are all becoming more intuitive, combine that with all the new technology now available and soon it will be hard for any of us to hide our true thoughts from others. This will necessitate us changing our way of thinking.

We are in the last days of Pisces and are entering the age of Aquarius, who knows what the future holds. That is for each and every one of us to determine, regardless of who does or doesn’t return to earth.

The Difference Between Religion and Spirituality

I think this pretty much says it all.

Many will dispute this, but the world is a better place because of religion. It gives most people something of value to hang onto, and a leader to look up to. However, in the end, we all must develop our own story, our own spirituality. We each perceive God in a different manner. It is up to each and every one of us to find God or a Supreme Being or Intelligence in our own time and our own way.

Only then can we become the spiritual beings we were meant to be.

A journey of spiritual discovery

A Bashful Country Boy goes on Walkabout.
A Walkabout refers to a rite of passage during which male Australian Aborigines would undergo a journey during adolescence and live in the outback for a period as long as six months.
In this practice they would trace the paths, or song paths, that their ancestors took, and imitate, in a fashion, their heroic deeds.
Merriam-Webster, however, identifies the noun as a 1908 coinage referring to “a short period of wandering bush life engaged in by an Australian Aborigine as an occasional interruption of regular work”, with the only mention of “spiritual journey” coming in a usage example from a latter-day travel writer.
To white employers, this urge to depart without notice(and reappear just as suddenly) was seen as something inherent in the Aboriginal nature, but the reasons may be more mundane: workers who wanted or needed to attend a ceremony or visit relatives did not accept employers’ control over such matters (especially since permission was generally hard to get).

God’s Will; What is It?

My online store filled with inspirational GIFTS for yourself and others.

People are often confused by what is meant by the “Will of God”. Many assume God would only want the best for us and would want to keep us from harm and evil. They often question why bad things happen to good people and why only the good die young, while many times the presumed bad often escape the consequences of bad behavior and poor judgment.

Even though it is hard to envision and understand in many instances, everything happens for a reason.Every circumstance in our life is presented for a purpose and given to us so we may learn and grow from it. Sometimes this is a hard lesson to learn and a big pill to swallow.

If one takes the time to look back through their life and is open minded about it, you begin to realize your most important  and valuable lessons in life were realized after and during some extreme hardship you encountered. We learn and grow more rapidly because of our so called negative experiences than from our positive encounters.

One often finds that if the lesson isn’t comprehended the first time, the same learning experience will be afforded to us again and again unit the course is finally understood, we take action to avoid the result of our actions and we move on.

Sooner or later one begins to realize we are responsible for our actions and our reality. Every situation in our life, we

, on some level of consciousness, create for ourselves so we may learn and grow from it.

This is a hard concept for most of us to comprehend when we are walking through the darkness and enduring much pain and suffering. Many wonder why they would voluntarily accept such agony in their life. This is something each soul has to come to terms with in their own way and time.
No one can walk the path for you, no one can fix your problems but you.

Humanity is continuously looking for someone to  rescue them, sorry it isn’t going to happen. Many great teachers have come and gone, and many wait for their return. The Mesoamericans were looking for a savior, when the one whom they thought was “the one”,  arrived he raped, killed and destroyed them.

The great teachers have shown us the way, it is up to the individual to follow their own path to return to the knowing of their power and ability to create the life they would desire, without all the drama.

When a soul suffers enough and realizes it is part of the Godhead, and thus deserves a more enjoyable existence. It will eventually find the way to a path that leads away from all the heartaches of life.

God’s Will is actually our will, he only presents opportunities for our life, it is our choice which one we accept. Regardless of what we choose, every circumstance is a learning experience from which we can learn much.

We all have free will, that is our birthright. It encompasses every aspect of our life. If we have the freewill to choose to have a hot
fudge sundae or a banana split, we also  have free will over every aspect of our life, you can’t pick and choose when to have free will or not have it.

If one chooses to not have free will, that only proves you have it. You can’t choose not to have it without having it  in the first place. God’s will is that we learn and grow and return to our birthright.

Wisdom lost through the ages

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world, When looking back in history, I soon discovered this has always been a problem, Benjamin Franklin once said, ”Of all the senses, common sense seems to be the one that is used the least.”
As obvious as it may seem, many seem to be totally oblivious to it. Most, if not all of the problems the world faces today could be solved if people would just sit back and think about what would seem to be the most obvious and simple solution to any issue. Often times people tend to overcomplicate the issues.
I often think back to what my parents and grandparents believed and said, at the time I thought they were totally out of their mind and ignored it. I now wish I would have listened and followed their advice.
It is now evident they were a lot smarter than we gave them credit for. Many times, in today’s world, the schools and universities can no longer be counted on to teach truth and values that will guide someone through life.

Available in both paperback and ebook formats.
