The Curse of Oak Island

The Masonic Influence on World History

To me, the television series, “The Curse On Oak Island” that airs on the History channel has been a fascinating series.

I first heard of Oak Island in the 1950s when I read about it in a magazine my grandfather had.  Obviously, that was many years ago, and I had all but forgotten about it until I saw the program on the history channel a few years ago.

My interest peaked, as I had been studying much about the Knights Templars and other groups who may have possibly come to the Western Hemisphere .

The link to the Knights Templars is fascinating, without a doubt, the group discovered something when they first visited the temple in Jerusalem, they discovered something, or some knowledge, as they suddenly became extremely wealthy.

It was this wealth and notoriety that eventually lead to their downfall when the king of France and the pope had them killed in the fourteenth century.

It only makes sense that some would have escaped and fled to Scotland where the political climate would have been better for them.

Whether on not they went to the new world is open for debate, but there is much evidence that says they did.

I’ll keep watching, I think this season will determine what and if anything is discovered in the money pit.

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

In technology, we have made advances far superior to those that came before us, but, we have lagged behind in gaining or maintaining our spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

The Downfall of the Knights Templars

After their first journey to the Temple Mount and after returning to France, the Knights Templars suddenly became very wealthy and as time went on, became more and more prosperous. They eventually became wealthier than the church, which ultimately led to their falling out of favor with the pope, who then had them drummed up on false charges, arrested them, and eventually executed all they could capture.

Their Grand Master Jacques DeMolay was burned over a fiery pit in 1314.

In turn the pope confiscated all their vast wealth.

Many of the Knights who survived then escaped to Scotland and freedom.

Throughout history, the masonic order has had an enormous influence on history.

The Knights Templars and the Qumran

The Masonic Influence on World History

The most important connection between the Qumran Essenes, the Knights Templars and the Freemasonry is they all focused on the rebuilding of King Solomon’s Temple.

Soon they were given a constitution by the church and became an official organization within the church, they were then given the right to wear their own mantles, which were pure white, and they were then not only knights, but monks as well.

Not only needing funds but extra workers as well, they were then forced to take in new recruits, The new recruits were probationary for the first year, had to be of noble birth, born in wedlock, and be free of any vow, much like the vows of masonry today.

Another similarity of masonic practice, sheepskin was the only allowed form of decoration. They were required to wear sheepskin breeches beneath their outer garments.

It was to be a symbol of innocence and chastity. The sheepskin was never removed, not even for bathing.

Why Did Columbus Sail To the Caribbean?

Written By: Gary Wonning

Christopher Columbus was known to be a Knights Templar, his ships carried the Cross of Jerusalem, the symbol the knights  Templars displayed on their flag.

It is now being discovered the Templars, Vikings, Norse and probably others had reached North America before Columbus did.

There is evidence of buried treasure on Oak Island off the coast of Nova Scotia, possibly treasure the Knights buried after fleeing France because of the persecution of the church.  Evidence has been found of Templar activity in the upper Midwest of the United States and Canada as well.

Columbus was a seafaring man, he would have known of these journeys that had been taken by others, especially those of the Templars.

When the Templars mingled with the native American Indians, they discovered both had similar rituals they performed during their many ceremonies.

The Templars and the Indians intermarried, one reason, so they could preserve the blood line of David, of which Jesus and Mary were part of.

You can easily assume there to be some bad blood between the Templars and the church due to recent events that had taken place in France. The Templars would have had no love for the church and the church wanted to exterminate the Templars because of the tremendous wealth they had created, and their philosophies differed immensely from those of the church.

Did he understand the consequences of the church intermingling with the natives and how the beliefs of the natives would eventually be destroyed because the philosophy of the church was entirely different than that of the Templars or the natives.?

It is possible he sailed south to avoid the mainland and preserve, not only the Templar way of life, but that of the natives as well.
