Our Inalienable Rights

Written by Gary Wonning

Even at my youngest age, I somehow knew where my rights came from,  except as a child, most of my rights rightfully so, came from my parents, but in reality, as an American, our rights come from God.

Today, many belief their rights come from government and that God should be eliminated from our lives, this is far from the truth and this belief in God is what makes us an exceptional country.

It explicitly says in the Declaration of Independence that we are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights.

It doesn’t get any plainer than that.

That is what makes us an exceptional nation. No other nation has it explained in their constitution, most still believe that their rights come from the government, that very thought makes them servants to their government  and not a free people.

In this country we believe, or should believe that our elected officials are our representatives, they are not our leaders. They are elected to serve us, we don’t serve them.

That is probably what makes it so hard to understand, all through the history of mankind, people have had leaders telling them what to do and what to believe.

The United States is different, although we do have laws, those laws come down from God, and are our natural born rights which no one can take away from us.

It’s hard to erase thousands of years of thinking in just a few generations, the thinking that someone else knows how to run our lives better than we do ourself. It makes each and everyone of us responsible for our actions and as a result, we have no one to blame but ourselves when we create challenges in our lives.

It is only natural to seek the simplest path, but that path of putting someone else in charge of our life eventually leads back to enslavement.

Searching For the Past

Journey to enlightenment

Searching beyond conventional wisdom. Open new avenues in your spiritual search.

Written by Gary Wonning

I will never forget my first past life regression.

I had been searching for spiritual meaning for quite some time, what the church was teaching just didn’t seem to answer all my questions, there seemed to be something missing, it wasn’t that I didn’t believe church doctrine, but there had to be more.

I had been sensing that there was really life after death, not the life most of us had bought into, but a real life on real planet earth, I had seen visions of my living in a different time and place, a time before the twentieth century.

It was time to investigate.

As I read the local paper one evening, I came upon an ad a local hypnotist had placed, the ad said he could cure smoking with hypnotism, my interest was peaked. I had read how people had undergone hypnosis and recalled lives they led in a time before this one.

This was new uncharted territory and it took some time before I mustered up the courage to call him.

Finally , I decided I could delay it no longer, this was something I had to do, regardless of the outcome.

My wife and I had been having some marital issues, and I thought that perhaps I could find answers that would help solve the issues we were having.

Talking with Tom, he stated he had only done three past life sessions, that didn’t peak my confidence any, but decided to do it anyway, what did I have to lose?

The session went quite well, I regressed  to two lifetimes I  sensed having lived. One was in ancient Egypt and one lifetime was during th American Revolution.

After overcoming my initial shock of the reality of it all, I began to realize that is was the only thing that ever made sense to me, it answered all the questions I had about why people do and think the things they do and think.

If people carry these memories over from lifetime to lifetime, I could understand why we feel about certain people the way we do. If we remember how we related to people in the past and how they related to us , that would explain many of our relationships today.

It wold also help us understand people of different ethnic and sexual preferences , if we realized at some period , we may have lived as  a different gender, race, or sexual orientation, it wold be hard to have any ill feelings toward those people today.

I couldn’t wait to share what I had learned, I thought many people would be overjoyed at this new knowledge.

Boy, was I wrong, my wife thought I had finally gone off the deep end and needed psychiatric help, a couple of the friends I had shared what I was planning on doing never believed a word of what I said.

Man! What a let down. How I could I be so thrilled at what I discovered, the truth I had been seeking when everyone else was not only not interested but couldn’t comprehend anything I had experienced, and didn’t seem to care?

It didn’t deter me, I keep studying and learning, and over the years I have for the most part encountered the same response from those I have shared the knowledge  with.

Most people are stuck in their own little box, regardless of how open minded they proclaim to be, there are certain boundaries they won’t cross.

I have discovered the knowledge we acquire, especially in this field, is for our own spiritual growth and in many times no one else. They are on their own path and they will learn in their own time.

The Baptist Friends

Art Prints

A Methodist minister meets three Baptist deacons on the golf course and invites them to come to his church some Sunday …and not too many weeks thereafter, just as services are starting, they show up.

Attendance was good in the small Methodist church, and there wasn’t a pew available; several church members were already seated on folding chairs.

When the minister, just starting the service, saw the three Baptist deacons enter, he leaned down from the pulpit and stage- whispered to the nearest usher, “Please get three chairs for my Baptist friends in the back.”

The usher, hard of hearing, leaned closer and said, “I beg your pardon?”

“Get three chairs for my Baptist friends,” repeated the minister, but the usher strained closer with a puzzled look still on his face.

Once more the minister tried, speaking slowly and distinctly. “Three chairs. For the Baptists,” he enunciated.

The usher’s face lit up in comprehension, and he turned to face the congregation. “All right, everybody,” he called out to the assembled worshippers. “Three cheers for the Baptist.

Growing up on a dairy farm in southeastern Indiana, Gary traveled very little until midlife, when the opportunity became available to him.

Grabbing his camera and a bag full of equipment, he began his vision quest traveling to most areas of the United States and several countries abroad.

Along the way he collected several thousand photographs that he wants to share with everyone.

The Politically Controlled Media

Written by Gary Wonning

Before and during world war two, it is  a well known fact that Adolph Hitler controlled the media, everything the Germans, Poles and many in Europe heard was controlled by Adolph Hitler.

Every piece of information was screened by him and only what served his agenda was allowed to be released to the public.

It was largely antisemitic and mostly untrue, he blamed the Jews for everything regardless if thy had anything to do with it or not.

Lie after lie was told until the general public began to believe every parcel of it, you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth, after a while people fall in line to the lie being told only because it is the perceived truth of the land and they hear nothing to counteract it.

The same is happening today, the politically controlled media  only tells us what fits their socialist political agenda. If the news doesn’t fit what they say or believe to be true, then it is altered or forgotten altogether.

Even Face book  and Twitter, U tube and many other social media sites follow the same agenda.

Regretfully it is a liberal agenda, often times many well meaning and well spoken conservatives like Dennis Prager and Franklin Graham get censured , not because of hate speech but because their conservative views don’t fit the narrative and the censor is so indoctrinated with liberal views they view another view point as hateful when it is  only a different opinion.

We are slowly falling into line with what the Nazis were doing in the 1930s, we are becoming indoctrinated with only one point of view and we are bombarded with it many times a day, and there is, in many instances no opposing view to compare it with.

People are taking at face value everything they hear on the news without questioning any of it.

This is a very dangerous position to take, people only believe what they heard on the 6 o’clock news and don’t consider as gospel truth , if it has even a morsel of truth.

We need to question everything, and do our own research to discover fact from fiction, even if it contradicts what we believe or have been told.

Our own inner knowledge and conscience should tell us what is true and what is utter nonsense.

We need to start listening to our inner voice, it is our connection with the God Source and never lies.

Common Sense

photo of a distinguished older gentleman

Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.

Written by Gary Wonning

A few years ago, while attending a book signing,  someone picked up my book, “Wisdom of our Ancestors” , and asked me what it was about.

When I replied it was about common sense, he gave me the deer in the headlights look and asked; what is common sense?

I was left speechless, I thought everyone knew what common sense was, my parents harped at me about common sense during my whole child hood.

But I was soon to discover many had a slightly different idea than I did, depending on how they were raised, where they grew up and the kind of environment they grew up in.

Their definitions were different but in the final analysis, it was the same, just different words.

I think we could all agree the definition  of common sense would come down to those laws of nature and Natures  God that, which if we followed would lead to a healthier, happier and more prosperous life than if we just wandered helter-skelter through life.

These laws are  gently displayed in all spiritual writing and scriptures, all cultures have a version of the golden rule, the ten commandments and other virtuous quotes written in our holy bible and Masonic ritual.

Teachings  such as was  taught in the Egyptian times such as storing our surpluses in the seven years of feast , preparing for the seven years of famine.

Life always travels in a cylindrical fashion, we prepare for famine when we are prospering.

From more modern times:

Make hay while the sun shines is another.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Treating people with respect

The list goes on and on.

Sedona: Journal of Emergence

The portals of Sedona

Written by Gary Wonning

After my initial experience in Sedona, I needed to learn more. At that period in time there was no Internet; information was much harder to come by.

My aunt had never encountered anything as she encountered with me and had no idea what was going on.

The only information I had was a brochure from an art gallery in Sedona. Other than that brochure the only thing I could find was the American Indians considered Sedona sacred land.

As soon as I arrived home I called the art gallery, the nice lady directed me to the editor of the magazine “Sedona Emergence,” which at that time was a small publication of just a few pages, today it is a monthly magazine of several pages and contains article from some of the top writers in the field of metaphysics.

I contacted Marlene the publisher and relayed to her my story of my encounter at Bell Rock. I was slightly surprised when she informed me those things happen all the time.

She asked me to send her an article about the encounter and said she would include it in the next publication, and as compensation, she would send me a free copy.

I immediately typed an article about y experience at Bell Rock and sent it to her, a few weeks later I received the promised magazine.

We Are Where We Are

photo of Bell Rock in Sedona ARizona

The portals of Sedona

Several years ago, I visited Lookout Mountain in Tennessee with my then teenage daughters.

Waiting in line at one of the attractions we saw a sign which said, “You are Here'”

We wondered out loud how “they” knew we were here. This was in the day before security cameras.

And then we wondered who “they” were.

As we travel through life, the experiences we encounter change us and if we let them, they change us for  the better.

my life began at an early age, my parents bought a run down farm when I was three years old.  Originally, dad wanted to buy a different farm that was in better condition than the one we settled on.

Dad’s uncle who was a banker, wouldn’t give dad the money for a farm dad wanted to buy. He said we couldn’t make any money there. In reality we could have make more money there than  at the farm my parents eventually settled.

The farm my parents bought was run down and the land was very poor. We barely raised enough corn the first year to replace the seed needed to plant the crop. To increase the fertility of the land, my parents began raising turkeys, not only were they sold a a good profit, their manure was high in nitrogen, rebuilding the fertility of soil very quickly.

Years later, while visiting Arizona, we discovered in a past life we had once lived near Cottonwood as Anasazi Indians and were farmer/ gatherers. In those days, the American Indians would live in an area until all the game and fish were gone, the soil depleted then move on to greener pastures.  They did not, as many would have you believe care for the environment. They didn’t belong to the Sierra Club or PETA.

Because my parents bought an old run down farm and brought it back to being a productive piece of land, they were able to repay a karmic debt, so dad’s uncle actually did him a favor, things always work out as they should.

There is always plan to life , we are where we are, and where we need to be.

Why Do We Incarnate Over and Over Again?

Written by Gary Wonning

There can be and are many reasons to reincarnate. The reasons and need would vary according to the individual soul.

We would think most would choose not  to leave the comfort zone of the in between life and not decode t enter the duality of our world where positive and negative energies exist and often time conflict with each other.

Without entering the earth reality, the soul doesn’t have the opportunity to evolve into higher levels of energy and thus develop a  higher level of consciousness. With out experiencing lives of pain and suffering, the soul only knows happiness and can only advance at a lower rate or not at all.

A person may feel lonely or experience suffering because they feel, consciously or subconsciously, they have done something wrong in the past and need to repay a previous karmic debt , either to themselves or to someone else.  therefore they feel a need to reincarnate to balance out the scales of what they did in a previous life.

By continuously reincarnating we keep adding much need life experience to our repertoire, experiences that can only be added by so-called negative experiences. We do gain much needed insight though our happiness experiences, but much life knowledge can only be gained through the school of hard knocks.

It is through our trials and tribulations we learn the most.

You chose to come here through your own free will and accord, and you chose to live the life you are living, make the most of it.

Learn your lessons well in the  school house of earth.
