Native American Indian Proverbs

The native American Indians were a proud and wise people. They lived close to nature and their lives were governed by their closeness to the land and their creator.

I have  gathered  a collection of some of their more well known proverbs and placed them on items for your pleasure.

Gary has been a writer/ photographer for over 20 years, specializing in nature, landscapes and studying native cultures.Besides visiting most of the United States, he has traveled to such places as Egypt, the Canary Islands, much of the Caribbean. At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race,what happens after death,the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric sciences claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth.

Regardless of what some think, we  all do create our own reality and we always get what we want in life, regardless if it is what we would call  positive or negative. Our thoughts create actions and our actions create consequences. this is what leads to fashioning the life we lead.

 

To have the life you want, it is imperative to continuously have dominion over your thinking, as you think, you create. Stay true to your beliefs and goals, stand tall. Everything isn’t always going to go your way or according to plan. there will be glitches and setbacks. These are only minor delays in the overall plan, sometimes the setbacks are only test from divine source, they are nature’s way of determining how bad we really want something.

If you desire an specific outcome, you will find a way  if a different path is desired, your deepest intuition will find an excuse for that which you think you desire to not come about. When impossible obstacles seem to be blocking your path just think of all the times you have survived in the past and found a solution to your problems.

Just remember you are the controller of your destiny, it is up to you what comes to pass, keep your thoughts positive and strong, your dreams will come true.

Stay on your chosen path, there is a place for you and your desires in this world, the power is within you, be true to what is in your heart. Be honest with yourself and don’t be afraid to make minor changes to your goals, if you are determined, you cannot fail.

It has been an exciting search, at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source.
