The Power Of The Mind

Written By: Gary Wonning

The Power of the Mind

At the time I had a customized van which was in excellent condition. I drove into the little town mulling through my mind my financial condition. I determined I had all the bases covered as long as nothing major come down the pike. The thought suddenly came into my head I only had one method of transportation, my van, and if anything happened to it, I would have a problem.

As I glanced down at the dashboard, the oil light suddenly came on, fear gripped me. I then realized I was creating this event and began thinking about how good a condition the van was in and I wasn’t going to have any problems with it.

As quickly as the light came on, it went off and stayed off. The van ran for many thousands of miles after that with no mechanical problems whatsoever.

A good lesson on how powerful the mind is, and how we do create our reality. There are times we do need to attend to the “real” life, but many times it is a figment of our imagination.

An Out of Body Experience

A New World is Revolving

Written By: Gary Wonning

After leaving her body and again entering mine, looking at her I could sense she seemed to experience nothing. At the time it was rather unsettling, I wanted to share it with someone but felt I couldn’t.  As time went by it was never discussed with her and now I haven’t seen her in years,so I must deal with it on my own. Perhaps someday it will be different.

Through it all, I learned that each and everyone of us experiences reality in our own distinct way. Two people never see things exactly the same. That doesn’t make either one of them wrong, it just gives each one a different perspective and enables each to see things as they must so they may learn whatever lessons they need to learn.

The Tree Of Life

Written By : Gary Wonning

I knew in the Garden of Eden story, there was a serpent involved, and a tree, and an apple, which in reality no one knows if it was an apple or not. Shortly after that event, Adam and Eve got kicked out of the garden, but beyond that, I was completely bamboozled. Hope I don’t get kicked out of earth, at this point in time, I don’t know of anywhere else to go.

As time went on ,I began to realize the serpent actually symbolized knowledge, and what Adam and Eve did was actually a part of the divine plan, we humans didn’t really fall from grace, but were actually exposed to life whereby we were able to learn the necessary lessons so we would someday be able to return to our creator.

The pieces finally began to fall in place, it was all symbolic. Obviously, the funeral symbolized death, and by passing through the veil of death, we entered into a new life and thus life continues, our soul never dies. The Tree of Life does symbolize knowledge, however, the missing link is understanding, we can have all the knowledge in the universe, but it does us no good until we reach an understanding as to what it means to us.

It may be the tree of knowledge, however, the understanding has to come from us, the individual, no one can teach that to us. The secret to life is to find the tree of knowledge, which is always near us, and by it understand what life really means to each and every one of us.

Going Back In Time, The First Hypnotic Session

A New World is Revolving

Written By: Gary Wonning

The hypnotic session continued,Tom began to take me back in time, back to when I celebrated my sixth birthday. I began to describe the clothes I wore as well as the gifts I received. I have no way of knowing if what I described was true, as far as I know, my sixth birthday was rather uneventful and I really don’t remember it.

Things were really starting to get interesting, Tom began to regress me back to a time before my birth, to a time during the preexistence, when I had no physical form. I saw myself as a spirit, floating through space, he then directed me to find a light, a tiny speck of light, and to focus on that, as soon as I did, I immediately began to move into it. It resembled being in a theater and becoming a part of the movie. As I became the light, I could feel myself slowly descending to earth, as I descended, could feel my physical body forming, I was actually pulling elements out of the earth’s atmosphere to create the form I needed to survive on earth.

I had a memory of a past existence on another planet. This planet was far away, in the Sirius star system, I could even remember some of the people that came along, many were souls I had become friends with in this lifetime.

My First Past Life Regression

My first past life regression

Written By; Gary Wonning

January 22,1985 will be a day I will never forget. It had taken me quite some time to build my confidence enough to undergo hypnosis. I had been wanting to try hypnosis for quite some time, but the only people that I knew that had undergone this were in the books that I had read, I didn’t know any real people that had “been there”

The sunsets behind the Egyptian sphnix

Earlier in the fall of 1984, Tom had placed an ad in the local paper stating that he could stop someone from smoking by the use of hypnosis. Seeing this ad, I thought about it for about a month, and finally, after working up my courage I went to see him.

This was back in 1984, very few people believed this stuff back then, and I will have to admit that I was more than just a little nervous about discussing this with a professional in a town where everyone knew me.

“Have you done any past life regressions?” I asked.

“Well, yes I have done three.” Was his nervous reply.

Needless to say, this didn’t build my confidence any. I thought about it for about three months and finally decided to give it a try.

After putting most of my fears behind me, I scheduled an appointment with Tom. My wife who had always been open to a lot of new ideas, had in the past few months suddenly become more fundamentalist in her thinking and was extremely opposed to my new way of thought, saying that because of what I was doing I would surely wind up in Hell. Since I didn’t believe in Hell I kept my appointment with Tom.

Alien Encounters are Personal Experiences

Alien Encounters

photo of Boynton Canyon

Mysterious Boynton Canyon near Sedona arizona

Written By; Gary Wonning

As the months of the year increased, so did my encounters of things of a “strange and unusual manner”. Driving home from Aurora, Indiana one summer evening, I noticed a strange configuration of “stars” in the northwest sky. There were three brightly lit stars placed in a triangular position high in the sky in an area of the sky which I had never seen any stars of any significance before. I became fascinated by this and watched them for the remainder of the trip home, about a forty five minute drive.

Arriving home, I continued watching these stars from my back patio. These “stars” hadn’t changed position for over an hour. As I watched, I noticed a fast moving object approaching from the north, it was identical in appearance to the three “stars”. As the object approached the three stars, the star at the bottom of the triangle began to move off to the southwest with the new arrival immediately taking its place.

I thought this to be extremely odd, I had never seen an aircraft move across the sky at such a rapid pace and then become perfectly stationary, and I certainly had never before seen a star begin to suddenly move after remaining stationary for such a long period of time.

Little did I then realize that this had not been the first time, nor would it be the last time I would encounter this phenomena, and little did I realize what had really taken place. Many events were taking place that I would have no explanation for several years.

The Path To Enlightenment

Written by: Gary Wonning

Enlightenment comes in small steps, not giant leaps, it is by these small steps that we evolve spiritually, so it was with my first experiences with past life recall. Although at the time neither myself, or the people that I was sharing this with realized what this all meant, every one of us were taught something and our values and beliefs were forever changed.

It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear, this always is true. However, in most cases, it is hard to distinguish the teacher from the student. The student and teacher are one, and as such the combined intellect becomes available to the group as a learning experience that can be shared equally, based on the perceptibly of the individual parties concerned.

Nothing Stays The Same

Written By: Gary Wonning

One of the biggest lessons we can learn in life is that nothing stays the same, not even friendships, or the intensity of friendships. As each of us grows mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, our friends and associates many times change also.

That is the way of the universe, we have very few souls who will remain our closest and best friends throughout life, unless we remain stagnant and cease to grow and change.

We are here to help, guide, and enjoy each other through life, once our assistance is no longer needed, we move on, assuming a different relationship with that particular person.

We each carry a memory of people that we knew in the preexistence, the time before we came to earth. It is that memory of the Soul by which we come to recognize someone in this lifetime, it is by that memory we may think that someone looks familiar or that we think we have seen them somewhere before.

A Letter From Home

Written By; Gary Wonning

I was to find the Air Force and that change of orders would lend itself to play a role in several events in my spiritual journey, not only in the future but the past as well. Four years earlier, while in basic training, one of those events took place.

During the second week of my training, my flight was marched to the infirmary to get our mandatory flu shot. Except for a sore arm, all went well until about three am the next morning. I was jolted awake by an extreme urge to find the latrine. For the next several minutes I found myself leaning over the commode worshiping the porcelain goddess. Not only was I extremely ill, I became concerned, I was scheduled for KP in about an hour. KP meant I would be getting up about four am and working until probably nine pm, how was this going to happen? Knowing that if I claimed I was sick, no one would believe me, they would just think I was trying to get out of KP, so I decided to fake it.

Marching in the cold Texas morning, I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, doubt soon set in as if I would be able to pull this off. As I arrived at the chow hall it was soon evident KP for me wasn’t going to happen that day. Fearing humiliation, court martial, flogging and everything else I could think of, I reported my condition to the officer in charge. The anticipated cold stare and rebuke came and I was ordered to sick bay.

Sensing some relief that I didn’t get flogged, I beat a hasty retreat out the chow hall and suffering extreme chilling and nausea, I walked back into the cold Texas morning.

At least when I get to sick bay, there would be an officer in charge that I don’t know, he would probably give me a shot and send me to the hospital or back to the barracks. The worst should be over.

As I entered the sick bay, my heart stopped in mid beat. It’s my Training Instructor on duty, the mean one. Here we go again! Gritting my teeth, I walked up, saluted, and stated my delicate condition, another cold stare and the response, “You have KP today, right?” I replied. “Yes Sir.” Another cold stare followed by, “It figures, go back to the barracks, I will deal with YOU later.”

Who would want to get well at this point in time? If I live through this I’ll worry about that later, all I want to do now is sleep.

photo of Boynton Canyon

Regaining consciousness about the same time my fellow trainees returned from KP, I received the expected response from them also. Too sick to care what anybody thought, I rolled over and went back to sleep. Next morning at four am reveille, feeling weak but better, life returned to normal and it was forgotten until a couple of days later.

Mail call and a letter from mom, this wasn’t unusual as she normally wrote two or three times a week. As I opened the letter and began to read, cold chills ran up and down my back. She immediately asked if I was OK, she went on to state she woke up at three am on the morning I was sick and woke dad and told him I was very sick.

How did she know? I hadn’t written or talked to her? She had no way of knowing. The flu shot had not only gotten me out of KP, it also served as a gentle reminder of how we are all connected on some level.

It’s An Individual Experience

Written By: Gary Wonning

If the alien life form entered our reality, they would be visible to all who are near us. This very often is just not the case. The encounter is normally an individual event or one experienced by only a few people, not large masses. Thus, these encounters,as well as all things of a spiritual nature are a matter of personal evolvement and enlightenment and as such are not seen or experienced by the masses, except in  rare instances.

I feel, that many times, we as individuals enter into another dimension or reality while those around us do not, thus we experience the event while those around us don’t.
