Michigan, the Wolverine State
Hubbard Lake is located approximately thirty miles south of Alpena Michigan in the northeast corner of the state. There are many cottages around the lake, making it a favorite vacation spot for Michiganders.
Located in Alcona County in northern Michigan, the lake is seven miles long, and about two miles wide. Averaging thirty-two feet deep, it is about eighty-five feet deep at it’s deepest point.
Popular for winter as well as summer fishing, the lake is well stocked with bass, northern pike, yellow perch, tiger muskie, trout, and walleye.
Located in northern Michigan, the lake is prone to gorgeous sunsets.
With clear blue skies, crisp nights, and a zillion stars, it is the perfect getaway for young and old.
Growing up on a dairy farm in southeastern Indiana, Gary traveled very little until midlife, when the opportunity became available to him.
Grabbing his camera and a bag full of equipment, he began his vision quest traveling to most areas of the United States and several countries abroad.
Along the way he collected several thousand photographs that he wants to share with everyone.
Gary decided the best way to accomplish his goal was to publish photo documentaries on the various areas of the world he has visited.
What will follow will be several photography books, who knows how many will wind up in his collection.
