To Conquer Fear

Your favorite paranormal store

“To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.”

‘People have a hard time letting go of their suffering.
Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.”  Thich Nhat Hanh.

Most of us are controlled by fear, in one form or another. As much as we try to deny it , fear has an effect on all of us. The fear is greater for some than others, while some may be afraid to come out of the house after dark , or be afraid to drive on the roads for fear of being killed in a so-called accident, for most it takes much more than this to arouse our deepest fears.

Many go to extremes to conquer fear, such as sky diving or traveling deep into the Amazon in search of native
tribes and wildlife, confronting them to conquer whatever fear they may have. The list can go on and on , and in this sense we could never confront and conquer all our fears, as soon as we conquer one fear, another arises.

The only true way to truly conquer fear is to put our life in control of a higher power. This doesn’t mean to give up
control of our life, it just means to let go and go on. We still have control over our actions and our destiny.

Secret to Life

When we let go, we still chart our course in life, however, we leave the path and direction to a higher power. In this sense, we are always given choices and the option to choose which path to take. We fear nothing because we believe
no harm can come to us and every event in life leads to a higher learning.

We learn the soul is indestructible and we can’t die, at least our soul doesn’t. We quit looking backwards and having regrets
of things left undone. We realize we made the best decision  based on the information we had at the time. Everything happens for a reason, and sometimes it can take years for the final outcome based on a decision we made earlier in life.

When we overcome fear, we let go and let be, realizing there is a divine plan for us that we chose at the time of birth. We don’t always see the big picture and need to leave it up to divine intelligence to know the final outcome and the direction to go, step by step.

As we conquer our fears, our wisdom increases because the channel  is opened wider and wider for the connection of our soul to divine spirit.

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race, what happens after death, the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric science’s claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search, at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. Ask and You Shall Receive

Written by : Gary Wonning

How often do we get what we ask for?  How many times have we been the
recipient of  an unfortunate situation due to unforeseen circumstances
and make the statement, “Well, we asked for it.”The answer may surprise
you.

It happens more than you would realize. It has been my experience that we
always receive what we ask for, especially if we are really determined
to receive it. When we keep focusing on a particular outcome, and do it
for an extended period of time, it will be given to us. That is why it
is so important to be specific in what we want and how we would like to
receive it. If we don’t the intended gift may come to us in a way that
is not in our best interests.

A particular instance in my life comes to mind. Several years ago I was
preparing for a month long adventure to Australia, It was something I
was looking forward to, the only down side was that it would use up all
but one week of my yearly vacations, thus leaving long periods of time
without any time for some rest and recuperation.

As I approached the last of March, I began to really be stressed out and
realized I needed a break , my Australian adventure was still 3 months
away, I began to unconsciously want and need some time off  work.

Little did I realize I was setting the stage for an unscheduled learning
experience. The last week of March turned out to be extremely warm for
March. I had my only other week’s vacation for the year scheduled and as
the weather was near 80, I decided to clean up my motorcycle and get it
ready for summer.

As I finished cleaning, it seemed like a good idea to go for a short ride.
I had decided to travel to Gettysburg the next day, but this would be a
good way to spend the day.  I could come home, pack and either leave
later in the day, or wait until the next morning. The short ride turned
into a long ride,. As I rode along the rural southern Indiana roads near
the Ohio River, it seemed like the perfect day.

I should have known better, there had been storm clouds gathering all day
and as I stopped to talk to a friend in Aurora, a sudden downpour came
upon us. It rained cats and dogs for over an hour. Suddenly , as the
rain was diminishing, I decided to make a break for it and ride to my
home 30 miles away.

As I rounded the corner passing between a funeral home and a church, a
pickup truck suddenly pulled out in front of me , leaving me with two
choices, neither of them good. I could either hit the truck or hit the
pavement. I decided to hit the pavement and even though I was only
traveling about 10 MPH, I dislocated my shoulder and as a result spent
the next three months off work healing up and going through rehab. I
recovered just in time for my month long expedition to Australia.

I had gotten what I had asked for, plenty of time off, the rest of the
spring was cold and below normal temperatures, so being outside wasn’t
even an option. I spent most of the next three months reading books and
watching TV, with a bummed up shoulder, one is really limited as to what
he can do.

All this has been instrumental in me realizing, we do actually get what we
ask for, hopefully I will be more concise in the future concerning how I
ask for what I want.

Love and Fear

YOUR PARANORMAL SUPERSTORE

There are only two forces in the universe. In their busy daily lives  many people never consider this , many seem to think they are too busy
to think about things of a spiritual or esoteric nature.

Many times it takes some sort of crisis in one’s life to  wake up and even consider there may be more to life than they have ever considered.
Unfortunately, if people would contemplate these issues on a daily basis, many times the crisis could have been avoided.

Unfortunately, I was part of the masses, and even though I had considered the spiritual side of life, I never gave it much thought until a drastic change occurred in my own life. I only experienced what so many have gone through in my generation, so I feel there is a group learning happening, even though most people are unaware of it.

Through it all I have found there are only two forces in the universe, everything else  emulates from them. The two forces are love and fear, every feeling and emotion we encounter stems from one of these.

Not everyone or religion identifies these forces as such, there are many different names for them. Some may identify them as good and evil, or even God and Satan.

From time immemorial, mankind has been wrestling with this concept and trying to understand the deep meaning of life and their connection with their Divine Creator. Thus, many religions and faiths have developed to help man understands what it all
means.

Everyone has a different perspective concerning love and fear, no one understands it completely. However, due to every soul
perceiving the concept from a different perspective, sooner or later the concept of God will be understood by all and we will all be reunited with our Divine Creator.

Even though it is generally thought there are only two forces in the universe, in reality, there is only one. God is the sole creative force in  all creation, everything else radiates from him, even fear. Fear is often viewed as something negative
thus many have personalized it as the devil. However, there are no good or bad experiences in life, only experiences, how we perceive them is what makes them a positive or negative encounter.

Fear is important because it is from our fears we learn, sooner or later we all work our way through that which we fear. We have no choice, our soul demands it. We will keep encountering the same situations or types of situations until a solution is found and the fear disappears. As the fear disintegrates in front of our eyes, love enters and we become
closer to the God Source because we have conquered one of our fears or hangups.

Once understood, this precept makes life a lot simpler to comprehend and understand. I think.

Day of Change

YOUR PARANORMAL SUPERSTORE

Upon waking on September 22, 2011, I noticed the world had changed and we were starting afresh. Although this shift in consciousness has been slowly happening over the course of the last  several years and has greatly accelerated over the past few months, it seems like today September 22nd, is the time we reach critical mass and the pendulum begins to swing in the opposite direction, all in preparation of December 21, 2012, the day of renewal.

This awareness of a new world began for me in 1991, as I was traveling home from work on a cold and snowy mid western evening, looking out across the frozen snow-covered fields of  southern Indiana I suddenly saw a new world where everything was fresh and clean. At the time, I had no idea what this all meant but I somehow realized there was a new world coming and it would be the same, but different.

Tikal Guatamala

path Tikal

I never have and still don’t believe the world is coming to a physical end on December 21, 2012. The end of the Mayan and several other calendars signify the end of an era, not the end of the world. It is the end of the world as we know it, however, it is the beginning of a new world, a world where the intuitive skills of many of us will and have already increased. This increased knowingness will result in us knowing what is in other’s hearts which will in turn lead to increased truthfulness and honesty because we will know when someone isn’t being honest with us.

Just as the Internet has created an environment where politicians and other public officials can no longer be dishonest with us, this new awareness on our part will create an atmosphere of more understanding and honesty.

I feel that after the shift is complete, most people will still be success driven, however, the spiritual side of life will become more
important to many as they realize that life and our material possessions have no value if there is no spiritual value or foundation in one’s life.

If one has no spiritual base or a connection with a supreme being or force then there isn’t anything we can obtain as far as material possessions are concerned that will satisfy our inner longings. Whatever peace and happiness we derive from our successes will be short lived and only last until the next IPhone or similar gadget comes along.

The Path of Least Resistance

Your CARIBBEAN online store

To me, water can be an excellent example of how we should live our lives. From the time the raindrops first land on the earth, they begin their journey to their final destination, the sea, water follows the path of least resistance.

It has become the most powerful force on earth by following that simple precept. In most cases, water doesn’t force it’s
way into any environment. It just goes with the flow , silently seeking it’s path by meandering and winding down life’s path, thus seeking it’s destination by following the path of least resistance.

Many find driving to be stressful, however during my life I have driven several million miles. In most cases, I have found drivers also follow the path of least resistance. As they weave their way through traffic, drivers are continuously following the path by changing lanes and going where no other motorists are impeding their travel. Some become impatient and try to force the situation by aggressive behaviour, but for the most part, the motorists are just trying to reach their final destination by following the easiest and most efficient path. They have become like the water, meandering their way through life, following a plan, but altering it to compensate for changing conditions.

I have found most successful people also follow the same theory, they all sooner or later learn to go with the flow and let the universe or God lead them. They don’t abandon their life dreams or give up when to going gets tough,  many times none of the paths are easy, but they continue on by facing their challenges head on, and sooner or later they will arrive at the summit of their life dreams.

Photography Prints

The most important part of the journey is the path  we take, where we learn how to face roadblocks and obstructions to our destination, by them we learn many lessons that are beneficial to our well-being and evolution as a human being. It has been often said the journey is more important than the destination, I feel this is true. The destination is our reward for not succumbing to all the trials and hardships we encountered along the way.

Just as water continues on its journey to the sea, and motorists reach their desired domicile so can we reach our ultimate destination, by having a plan, sticking to it, but altering  it to reflect current and changing situations and following our instincts in finding the best,
quickest and most beneficial roadway to our fulfillment.

Life’s Journey and Inner Guidance

Art Prints

It is often said that to arrive at your proper destination, you have to know where you are going. While this may be true in many cases, in the journey of life, it isn’t always true.

While one does need a basic plan for your life, most life is  made up as we go. I had my whole life planned out when I was 21, I am now approaching the late 60s and I still haven’t done most of what I had planned or assumed my life would be like. As I look back, I assumed life would be like everyone else I knew, fairly normal and mundane. It didn’t turn out that way and quite frankly, I would have been pretty bored if it had.
Inspiration
Although I envy those who have a so-called normal life, I realize they have never had the opportunity to experience half of what I have.  Boredom has never been an issue. Having said that, I whole heartily believe that when it comes to life, you need to plan as you go.

Often times when making life changing decisions we need to rely on inner guidance, that little voice we all need to listen to more often. It has a habit of laying out our best course of action a little bit at a time, not one big lump sum at the tender age of 21 when we think we know everything, when in actuality, we know very little.

The Australian Aborigines believe they “dream” something up, before it actually happens, therefore, when the event comes to pass, they already know the correct course to follow. They believe their dreams are a precursor to actual events, even if they don’t actually remember the particular dream, they believe it is in their subconscious and is there for remembering at the proper time.

I’m sure we can all remember thinking certain thoughts or even making certain statements in our mind, and then actually relaying this
information to someone during our normal waking day. This in my opinion is what the aborigines are talking about. We are “dreaming” it up, storing it in our subconscious and then using it at the proper time.

As we travel down life’s journey, the are many  paths to follow, some will only be for a short time, while many others could be for a lifetime.
Just as we get in a car and travel to a distant city, we will drive on many different roads, so is the journey of life so traveled. We travel
many paths and we may not know where we are going, but we will know when we have arrived.

Social Changes, From Ancient Times until Now

The American Indian, once a proud and honorable culture has succumbed to
being dependent on government for their very existence. At one time they
as a whole were very independent and had a firm relationship with their
Supreme Being or Their God.

And as such were very close and dependent on nature and the whims of the
weather. They were so in tune  they knew of approaching storms, hard
times and stampeding buffalo. They often foretold of coming events, not
only for their own personal tribes, but for mankind and the earth as
well.

This is not to say they were perfect, they knew little of fertilization and
thus did farm out the land and when it became too poor to raise crops,
they would move on to more fertile ground thereby enabling the land
replenish itself over time.

The American Indian never developed any technology and thus didn’t advance
their civilization one iota over ten thousand years,  they were still
living much the same in Columbus’s time as they were thousands of years
ago. This one fact eventually lead to their downfall, being big on
spirituality and short on technology can only lead to disaster.

Today we have advanced to having the most technological advanced society the
modern world has ever known. We have new innovations coming at us daily,
often times so rapidly it is hard to keep up. In the process we are
also losing our culture, spirituality has become non-existent, and many
times people who are so inclined are ridiculed into submission, so they
remain quiet.

Society, in a perfect world advances both in technology and spirituality, or
their relationship to a divine source. As has been exemplified in the
previous paragraphs, this is not always the case. It seems civilization
either concentrate on one or the other and not both. In most societies
in the past, the focus has been on spirituality. The only two exceptions
I might mention would be Atlantis and Ancient Egypt where much focus
was placed on both areas, in particular Atlantis.

We have reached a point in time in the evolution of man where we need to
focus on both, we have accomplished much in the scientific world over
the last several generations, now it is time to bring our spiritual
world up to par with our world of technology.

The is much evidence in the world to make this seem evident, with all the
unrest and civil disobedience it is way past time to remember what is
important in life and to arrange our priorities to reflect the time worn
values that are the basis of an enduring society.

Limiting Beliefs

We live most of our lives trying to figure out life, and once we think we have the mystery solved , life throws us a curve and we start all over again. There are many misconceptions in life. One of the most common misconceptions concerns limited beliefs.

Most people believe that our resources are limited whether it be on a personal level, a national level or a world level. Not only is there an unlimited supply of  the natural resources such as oil or clean air on a world level, but we have unlimited resources on a personal level as well.

We have all been taught from an early age by the well intentioned  people in our lives that there is only so much of anything  to go around and we as humans can only do so much. This simply isn’t true. We are only limited by the belief that we only deserve so much or that we aren’t worthy of the many blessings life has to offer.

We are all entitled, while remaining humble, to live life to the fullest and to live an authentic life , lived from your heart, speaking your truths, while standing firm in your beliefs, and being able to change your stand when new knowledge comes your way.

I’m not exactly clear what the origin of this
phenomenon is, but many of us are taught at an early
age that you can’t have everything.  Because of this
belief, we decide that we must make a choice between
two things that we desire.

Personally, I don’t believe this.  I
believe you CAN have it all.  What you can’t do,
however, is create it at the same time.  We need to
focus on manifesting things one at a time until we
attract it to us.

This is a fairly simple shift to make.
However, along with the idea that you can’t have
everything is the concept that certain goals are
mutually exclusive!  No matter what these two goals are
for each of us, we face the same dilemma:  choosing to
cut out one part of us in favor of another.

Seeing the quandary is only half the battle.  Once we
become aware that we feel we have to choose between two goodies,
it is necessary to change our thought patterns.  The
primary work here is to wrap your mind around the possibility
of having and enjoying both things at once.

To
help you do this, I have included some specific belief
transformation statements that can help allow you to create
everything you want, just one thing at as time!

For the
following statements, say each one out loud until it
feels 100% true.  Then, and only then, move on to the next
one, repeating that statement until it is true.  The
process may be fast or slow, it really doesn’t matter.
What is important is that you allow any resistance to make
itself known and to incorporate it into the statement.  For
example, if you feel fear, add the phrase “Despite the fear
I feel,” to the beginning of the statement, never at
the end.

  1. I’m 100% open to the idea that I can have love and money at one and the same time.

  2. I’m 100% willing to accept that I can have love and money at one and the same time.

  3. I’m 100% ready to accept that I can have love and money at one and the same time.

  4. I’m 100% ready to have love and money at one and the same time.

  5. I now choose to have love and money at one and the same time.

  6. I now commit 100% to having love and money at one and the same time.

  7. I am now 100% committed to having love and money at one and the same time.

  8. I am now 100% committed to taking action to

When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but often times we look so long at the
closed door that we don’t see the one, which has been opened for us.

Don’t go for looks; they can deceive.
Don’t go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go;
be what you want to be, because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past;
you can’t go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end, you’re the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.
Don’t count the years-count the memories………..

The Last Time

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would
give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I’d hear your voice lifted up
in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play
them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two
to stop and say “I love you,” instead of assuming, you would know I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your
day, well I’m sure you’ll have so many more, so I can let just this one
slip away.

For surely there’s always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say our “I love you’s”, And certainly
there’s another chance to say our “Anything I can do’s?”

Mountain  Stream

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I’d like to say
how much I love you and I hope we never forget, Tomorrow is not promised
to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get
to hold your loved one tight.

So if you’re waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?

For if tomorrow never comes, you’ll surely regret the day, That you didn’t
take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy
to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, Tell them
how much you love them and that you’ll always hold them dear, Take time
to say “I’m sorry,” “please forgive me,” “thank you” or “it’s okay”.

And if tomorrow never comes, you’ll have no regrets about today.

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world,
I often think back to what my parents and grandparents believed and said, at the time I thought they were totally out of their mind and ignored it. I now wish I would have listened and followed their advice more often.
It is in this light I have decided to publish some of my random thoughts based on the views of our ancestors
