WHAT IF FOOD WAS DIRTY AND SEX WAS CLEAN?

What If Food Was Dirty And Sex Was Clean?

When you think of it, there are only two things you need to make people. You got to have sex. You got to have food. That’s it. You don’t need clothing, shelter, or TV. Okay, maybe TV, but otherwise, it’s sex and food. But for some reason, sex is “dirty”. Maybe God was a Republican. Somebody said, “All right, you want to propagate, go ahead, but only late at night, with all the doors closed, the lights off, the man on top — once a week, and that’s it.”

RECORD YOUR PRECIOUS MOMENTS.

But not only can you eat the charred decaying flesh of other major mammals, you can do it in broad daylight and invite all your friends to watch: “Hey, Chuck, why don’t you come over on Sunday? We’re going to kill a pig, cut him up, burn him, and eat him. Bring the kids. We’ll have a hell of a time.”

What if they had been switched around? What if, through a simple twist of fate, sex was clean but food was dirty? Our entire culture would change. Food would become a four-letter word.

When people got angry at you, they’d yell out “Oh yeah? Well, food you. Suck cheese you Popsicle slurper.”

Punks in passing cars would flip you the fork.

Flashers would have pizzas strapped to their chests. “Ohmigod. It’s a pepperoni.”

Locker room talk would change. “Hey, man, how’d you do this weekend?” “Two burgers and a bag of fries. Crinkle cut.” “Ooooohhhhhhh, sweet!

Garlic would be illegal in most Southern states.

Supermarkets would check I.D.’s and charge admission to the poultry section.

Frederick’s of Hollywood would feature peekaboo napkins and day-of-the-week paper plates.

Foreplay would be listed as a menu selection.

Vice squads would conduct raids on backyard barbecues. “All right, put down your meat. Just back away from the buns, mister.”

Vegetarians would be prohibited from becoming teachers and a lot of them would move to the Bay Area.

Hookers would become cooks. You’d be accosted on street corners by plump ladies in day-Glo aprons. “Hey, big boy, looking for a hot meal? Wanna crack some crab?”

Fudamentalist Christians would make meat and potatoes a religious tenet.

Many sexual positions would be found to be carcinogenic.

Parents would tell their children not to play with their food or they’ll go blind.

And most of all…

Kids would remember the first time their mother caught them marinating.

You are what you eat

You Are What You Eat

A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa.

“The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG. High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water.

“But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all, and we all have, or will, eat it. Would anyone care to guess what food causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?”

He noticed one man in the front row nodding knowingly.

“Yes?” the doctor says, asking the man to speak aloud.

The man replied, in a loud voice: “Wedding cake.”

My Turn

This is Gross!!

A young man saw an elderly couple sitting
down to lunch at McDonald’s.
He noticed that they had ordered one meal, and an extra drink cup.
As he watched, the gentleman carefully divided the hamburger in
half, then counted out the fries, one for him, one for her, until each
had half of them.

Then he poured half of the soft drink into the extra cup and set
that in front of his wife. The old man then began to eat, and his wife
sat watching, with her hands folded in her lap. The young man
decided to ask if they would allow him to purchase another meal
for them so that they didn’t have to split theirs.

The old gentleman said, “Oh, no. We’ve been married 50 years,
and everything has always been and will always be shared,
50/50.”

The young man then asked the wife if she was going to eat, and she
replied, “Not yet. It’s his turn with the teeth!”

The Best Things in Life

A man visiting Scotland one day drove through
Fife.
Feeling hungry, he stopped at a Chinese restaurant
he was passing.

The food he ate there was by far the
tastiest food he
had ever eaten, so when he asked for the bill, he was
astounded to find out that there was
no charge.

The waiter simply told him,

“The best Ying’s in Fife are free.”

Do You Have Any Grapes

A duck walked into a pharmacy He asked the
pharmacist “Do you have
any
grapes?”

“No, but the grocery store two blocks down sells grapes.” he
replied.

The next day, the same duck walked into the same pharmacy and asked
“Do
you have any grapes?”

“No, two blocks down on the right.” replied the pharmacist somewhat
annoyed.

The third day, the same duck walked back into the same pharmacy and
asked
the same question.

This time the pharmacist said “We don’t sell grapes here. You have
asked
for grapes now for three days in a row. I have told you we don’t sell them
here, this is a pharmacy, not a grocery store. If you come back in here
tomorrow asking for grapes again, I am going to nail your little-webbed
feet to the floor, NOW GET OUT OF HERE!”

The next day the same duck walks back into the same pharmacy, this
time
with quite a bit of trepidation. He looked around and asked the pharmacist
“Do you have any nails?”

“No” replied the pharmacist.

“Well then… Do you have any grapes?”

Thanksgiving Weather Forecast

Thanksgiving Weather Forecast

Turkeys will thaw in the morning, then warm in the oven to an
afternoon high near 190F. The kitchen will turn hot and humid, and if
you bother the cook, be ready for a severe squall or cold shoulder.

During the late afternoon and evening, the cold front of a knife
will slice through the turkey, causing an accumulation of one to two
inches on plates. Mashed potatoes will drift across one side, while
cranberry sauce creates slippery spots on the other. Please pass the
gravy.

A weight watch and indigestion warning have been issued for the entire area, with increased stuffiness around the beltway.

During the evening, the turkey will diminish and taper off to leftovers, dropping to a low of 34F in the refrigerator.

Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, high pressure to eat sandwiches
will be established. Flurries of leftovers can be expected both days
with a 50 percent chance of scattered soup late in the week. We expect a
warming trend where soup develops.

By early next week, eating pressure will be low as the only wish left will be the bone.

Vegetarian Chicken

Each Friday night after work, Santa would fire up his outdoor grill and cook a tandoori chicken and some meat kebabs. But, all of his neighbours
were strict Catholics and since it was Lent, they were forbidden from
eating chicken and meat on a Friday.

The delicious aroma from the grilled meats was causing such a problem
for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked to their Priest. The
Priest came to visit Santa, and suggested that he become a Catholic.

After several classes and much study, Santa attended Mass and as the
priest sprinkled holy water over him, he said, You were born a Sikh,
and raised a Sikh, but now, you are a Catholic.”

Santa’s neighbors were greatly relieved, until Friday night arrived.
The wonderful aroma of tandoori chicken and meat kebabs filled the
neighbourhood.

The Priest was called immediately by the neighbors and, as he rushed
into Santa’s backyard, clutching a rosary and prepared to scold him, he
stopped and watched in amazement.

There stood Santa, holding a small bottle of holy water which he
carefully sprinkled over the grilling meats and chanted: “Oye, you waz
born a chicken, and you waz born a lamb, you waz raised a chicken, and
you waz raised a lamb but now yara, you are a potato and tomato”!

The wisdom of our ancestors

The wisdom of our ancestors

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world,
I often think back to what my parents and grandparents believed and said, at the time I thought they were totally out of their mind and ignored it. I now wish I would have listened and followed their advice more often.
It is in this light I have decided to publish some of my random thoughts based on the views of our ancestors
