The Middle East Conflict

Conflict in the middle east

For many years, the United States has played a major role in maintaining peace in the world. During that time, contrary to what many may think, the United States accomplished much and contributed greatly to world peace.Today, many people  enjoy freedom because of our actions.

If not for the United states, many  would now be speaking German and under the thumb of Nazism and or Communism. However, the times are changing.

We are now living in a different world. In times past, our adversaries had some of the same values we had, they valued human life.  Most were freedom loving people who for one reason or another, found themselves under the thumb of a cruel and violent dictator. Once freedom was again regained, they went on to create a productive and positive society.

In today’s world, many of  our adversaries in the middle east have no comprehension of what freedom is , nor do they desire it. They are still living in the middle ages and have no desire to change.

It’s a totally different mindset than in the past. Although, in most cases, our intentions are noble, we cannot do it for them. We can provide aid, weapons and such, but if they have no desire, there is nothing we can do. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.

For generations, the United States has supported the world, both militarily and financially. As a result , many countries have better educational and medical facilities than we do. Because they did not have to worry about providing a strong military for their defense, they could provide many more domestic benefits for their citizens.

We have now reached a point in time when it is necessary for them to support themselves. No longer should we be the sole provider for their security, why do we still have troops in South Korea? Their GNP  is something like 37 times as great as North Korea, shouldn’t they be protecting themselves?

The Ancient Egyptian Texts

The middle east is and always has been a tinderbox. This has been going on for thousands of years, dating back to the time of the Knights Templars and before.  Our first war as a country was against the Barbary Pirates off the coast of Africa, who were pirating our ships and blackmailing our young country almost to the point of bankruptcy. The Marine song was derived from this time, “From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli.”

Today we no longer know who the good guys are in that region, if there are any. Our country wants to support the Syrian rebels who are our fiercest enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood. We have seen how that turned out in Egypt. For too long we have supplied arms to these groups, only to turn around and have those same guns pointed at us during the next conflict. How stupid is that?

It is a mess we want to stay out of , in spite of all the atrocities being committed, they are being committed on both sides. It’s a lose lose situation. The only option we have is to stay out of it, it’s not our fight.  Let them fight it out and we will talk to the survivors.

So it is with the rest of the world, we do need to maintain some sort of a presence worldwide, we need to maintain our superiority in the world environment, for not only our interests but the rest of the free world as well. There are countries out there that would destroy freedom in  a heartbeat if it  wasn’t for the United States, we must never forget that.

However, we do not need to play mommy and daddy to them any longer, it’s time they grew up and charted their own destiny, most can do a lot more than they have to protect their own interests. It’s not only for our own good, but theirs as well.

How to Stop Bullying

Stopping Bullying

There is much said today about bullying. Everyone gets upset and says it must stop. I agree it would be nice if it did, but don’t hold your breath.

We are human beings and part of the animal kingdom, like it or not there is a pecking order. Bullying to some extent will always be with us. That’s not to say we shouldn’t  try to stop it, but when reality sets in, we need to realize that our kids simply can’t be watched twenty-four hours a day and they need to learn to fend for themselves.

schoolhouse

Since time immemorial , humankind has embarked on a spiritual journey to seek enlightenment. All travel this path, although not at the same time and more especially not at the same pace. Each must seek his own path and destination.

The schoolhouse of life

Many times at school, teachers get the blame when someone  gets bullied.  I agree, teachers should make every effort to stop it, but again they aren’t always in sight of what is going on. I’m sure if any of us think back to our school days, we remember waiting until the teacher walked out of the room before committing our acts of mischief. What makes you think it is different today?

Today,  one big difference, bullying in a lot of instances is a lot more severe. Because of the lack of discipline and general disregard of the rights of other, many times kids can be assaulted by many people at one time, and much more severely than in the past.

Also, because of political correctness, many times the perpetrators are not held accountable  we might hurt their feelings. We often excuse them for a supposed bad childhood. I got news for you, no one ever had a perfect childhood.

We often forget the victims feelings may have been hurt also, he or she may also have had a bad childhood. The victim suffers  while the perpetrators are almost held in rock star status. This has only made it worse, the bully now knows they can get away with it, and the victim often has no recourse, if they do anything to  defend themselves it then becomes a hate crime.

Having said all of that, kids need to learn how to stand up for themselves, and the only way they can do that is to learn how to deal with bullying on an individual basis. There was bullying when we were kids and we had to deal with it. There wasn’t always someone around to protect us and there isn’t when we grow up. I was a runt growing up , and I learned there are many techniques to put them in their tracks.

I came home from school in the first grade and told my dad someone was picking on me.  I’m not sure why I bothered, I knew what he was going to say, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. He just looked at me rather sternly and said,”Son I can’t be there to protect you all the time, you’re just  going to have to learn how to handle it yourself.”

Best thing he ever told me.

In spite of it all, I only ever hit two kids, bloodying  their noses. They both took off running and crying and they never bothered me again.

Most bullies are cowards, and if confronted they will back down. They are just like some tin horn dictators, they only pick on the weak, or whom they perceive to be weak. Often times it only takes a comment to make them back off. Showing fear never does, that only makes matters worse.

When these children reach maturity and get out into the world, many times will they face adversity and danger. How will they know how to deal with it if they haven’t learned when they were younger? Kids need to know how to deal with all kinds of people, there will be no one there when they get out into the world.

If they are continuously protected and kept out of harms way, they  aren’t going to know how to fend for themselves. They will have no coping skills since they have never dealt with adversity when they were younger when it was easier to learn.

Their solution will often be to go running off to the doctor or therapist  for a prescription of drugs to help ease them through their trauma, a trauma that wouldn’t be there if they had learned how to defend themselves and thus bolster their self-esteem and  confidence.

They then become addicted to drugs thinking drugs will solve all their problems and falling into the trap of depending less upon themselves and more on an outside source.

Bullying is just another example of people wanting the government to do something that only we can do for ourselves. You cannot legislate bullying. The best way to stop it is to stand up to the bully and show them to be the cowards they really are. Most times there will be no violence, and you will find that once the threat is eliminated, the two people will become best of friends. That won’t happen if people intervene. The wounds just get deeper.

Bottom line, as with most issues in today’s world, we need to get government out of our lives so we can  chart our own destiny.

Sedona Arizona Juniper Tree

Sedona Arizona, Juniper Tree

This dead Juniper Tree, having spent it’s entire life on Bell Rock overlooking picturesque Sedona is emblematic of many Juniper trees in the Sedona area.

Sedona.has long  been known as a “new age” and art Mecca. Due to the sources of energy in the area it  has an energy not found any where else on earth. The vortexes , of which there are four main ones,Boynton Canyon, Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, and the above mentioned Bell Rock emit energy that can affect people, animals, and plants in an unusual manner. This Juniper tree exemplifies how it can affect trees. The vortices emit subtle magnetic and electromagnetic energy which can be detected by humans and plant life alike.

The energy, over time will actually alter the limbs and trunks of trees, the more energy and the longer a tree is exposed to it will cause the limbs to twist into irregular shapes, making them  look like they were twisted in a vise.

It is a wonderful and enlightening place to visit, however if you happen to spend too much time there you could wind up twisted like this Juniper tree.

Camel Killed by UFO

Photography Prints

There’s a lot of stuff falling from the sky these days, but it usually passes with little more than a blurb and a shrug. Last year, however, a news flash out of Somalia prompted Frank Warren to do a double-take.

Your store for things from the OTHER SIDE.

According to Shabelle Radio, something crashed outside a town called Buulo Burde in March 2007 and allegedly killed a grazing camel upon impact. The report stated, somewhat awkwardly, that the thing glittered during the day and “in the nighttime it turns lights and speaks a strange language which can’t be understood by the villagers.”

Warren, who runs a UFO Web site in Sacramento, posted the news immediately. What intrigued him most were the
government visitors tuning into the story: U.S. Central Command, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, NASA/Cleveland, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

“They all stacked up on top of each other within minutes, and I can guarantee you that was no accident,” says
Warren. “It may have been something as simple as somebody making a call to a friend and saying, ‘Hey, check this out.’ But who knows.”

Warren says the Somalian mystery crackled along the Internet for about 72 hours. “Then it went black. There was no more news. I tried to track it through local forums asking, ‘Have you heard any more?’ and they said no. I even e-mailed one of the local papers and never heard back.”

Lacking additional data, Warren suspects what slammed into east Africa was a spy satellite, and that it was recovered by rapid-response teams. He hasn’t seen such a concentrated crush of government traffic before or
since. But authority-type people are clearly trolling his page for the latest developments on the UFO frontier.

Willard Returns to Sedona

Rare Blizzard in Sedona Arizona
Your favorite ARIZONA store.
Willard relates to me that after his previous experience, he did some research on the Sedona area and returned the following August.

Willard conveyed the following account of his experiences:

After returning home, I began to research the area and found it to have been a sacred area that the native Americans only went to for spiritual reasons.

I also found it to be considered sacred in the esoteric world of today, I decided to pursue further the reason why I had experienced what I did while visiting there.

Making contact with people living in the area, I found that my experiences were not unusual, they were for me!! I was informed that many people had UFO encounters as well as past life remembrances, while in the area  of the Vortices, as the power points were called.

Being the adventurous kind, I made an appointment with a local hypnotist and decided to find out what this was all about.

I had scheduled a morning and afternoon session, one would be on Bell Rock and the other would be in Boynton Canyon, both areas where a lot of UFO activity seemed to be centered.

The morning of the appointments, “Deer”, my hypnotherapist picked my up in front of my hotel and we proceeded to Bell Rock, not knowing what to expect, I was a little apprehensive. She explained that we would actually perform the session on Bell Rock, at a point that I considered appropriate.

Not knowing exactly where to go , I just found a nice shady spot and prepared for the session. As I entered the trance, I couldn’t believe what was happening, I was “seeing” people living under ground in the Sedona area, living life in some prehistoric Mastodon era. It all seemed so natural and I felt connected to them as my elbow seemed attached to the earth by some electrical force that was almost painful.

Further into the session, It became known to me that during my original visit, I had a UFO encounter at Bell Rock and had gone into a UFO. I could see the whole  episode and it seemed perfectly natural. I also had some past life recall, what a morning!

In the afternoon, we traveled to Boynton Canyon, where I could actually feel extraterrestrials in my presence.

What a day, certainly not what I had expected, this would take some time to sort out, as this was completely out of the box from anything I had ever experienced or believed. The problem was, it made sense to me, more than anything else I had ever been taught or read.

I would continue to read, study and experience this new found element of life for the next several years.

To find my own answers, it would take me to the four corners of the earth.

Willard’s First trip to Az

Art Prints

Bell Rock, Sedona Arizona

Your favorite ARIZONA store.

A blogging friend: Willard related this personal story to me:

A few days after Christmas I began contemplating what to do during a week I had scheduled for vacation the middle of February. No sooner than I began to think about it, I received a phone call from my aunt in Arizona. It was unusual that she would call and during the conversation I was asked when I would be coming to see her.
Without even thinking, I answered, “In February.”

It was a cold and windy day as I entered Cincinnati Airport, anxious to bask in the warm sunshine of Arizona. I had no idea of the changes in my life the next several days would make!

As I landed in Phoenix, I scurried to pick up my rental car from Budget Car Rental and hurriedly left the airport. Driving towards Sun City on I-17 , I began to realize how warm it was, so I rolled down a window, that didn’t really help much,so I put down the other window, it was then I realized how hot it seemed to me, so I put the windows up and turned on the air conditioning! WOW, this ain’t too bad a deal!!

The next day, we decided to do some sight seeing and headed for Sedona, a town that I had never heard of, but reportedly was very beautiful and scenic, as it turned out that was a gross understatement!

As we made the trek up I-17, I began to notice cars with skis on top of the roof, as warm as it was, it was hard to imagine that snow skiing was possible a scant 75 miles away!

Busy as we were talking, we completely missed the turn off to Cottonwood which would have enabled us to take advantage of the best view of Sedona by entering from the west.

Realizing that everything happens for a reason, I wasn’t too concerned. I would soon discover the reason for us coming the way we did.

As Bell Rock came into view, extreme hunger overcame me, this was an extremely peculiar circumstance as my aunt had prepared a rather large breakfast immediately prior to leaving Phoenix.

My aunt, being the good aunt she was had brought some apples, peanuts, and ice tea on the trip. I pulled along side of the road and ate everything we had.

Still feeling very faint, hungry and light headed, I started driving past Bell Rock, wanting take some photographs I pulled off the road and began walking back towards the rock to get a better angle.

Looking up at the top of the bell, I “saw” large firey sparks coming from the top, taking a few photos, I walked back to the car.

Having never lost sight of the car, I was perplexed as to why my aunt was concerned because she had lost sight of me.

Continuing our journey we soon reached Sedona, as it was now nearly noon, we both were hungry so we stopped at the most popular restaurant in town, The Coffee Pot in West Sedona
This is a restaurant that serves full plate lunches, I was still extremely hungry and consumed my dinner and half of my aunts.I think she was beginning to wonder if I had ever eaten when I was home.

Feeling a little better I decided to drive back to Bell Rock and see what that was all about. As I entered the area, the same feelings began to return, so I turned around and exited the area and drove to Cottonwood, and back to Phoenix.

As soon as I left the area I began to feel normal again. Returning to Phoenix I began to do research on Sedona, the only information that I could find while in Arizona was that the Indians considered it to be a sacred land.
I knew I would return to unlock the mystery!

reality

I have found over the years that there is no such thing as reality, it is only how we perceive it. Each of us may have a different view of it because of our different beliefs and experiences. Two individuals can be sitting side by side, looking at the same event and “see” two entirely different outcomes based on their individual perceptions.
