Entering a New Dimension of Consciousness

I have believed for quite some time that our DNA is being activated into a new awareness.

Hopi and other American Indian shamans as well as myself believe we are moving into a time when we will chose a future of doom and gloom or an era of a new beginning, a new frequency, or a new dimension of existence where we will become more intuitive and able to understand the motives of others and possibly reconnect with beings of other dimensions.

As we move into this new reality, many of us will experience symptoms that will tell the discerning soul they are indeed moving to a heightened awareness.

I seem to be experiencing most of the symptoms they are describing, although some may move into this new era and display no symptoms at all. Alas, some may have real physical diseases that should be checked out by a doctor. Proceed at your own discretion.

The following symptoms were noted in Shirley Maclaine’s new book,”What If?”

1. Headaches or nonlocalized pressure in the head;

2. Shifting or unstable vision; Perhaps the cessation of the karma of the last twenty-six thousand years will enable us to begin again without fear. History will definitely need a new script, and all of us— humans and star

taste, or change in eating preferences;

10. Losing track of “time”;

11. Physically dropping or bumping into things;

12. Hearing high-pitched tones or a series of tones or pressure in one or both ears;

13. Spiritual death or brief suicidal thoughts; Headaches or nonlocalized pressure in the head;

14. A heightened sense of not being in the present, or a sense of detachment;

15. A general sense of “free-flowing” energy that can often manifest and be misinterpreted as anxiety;

16. Jolts of energy that are felt physically and often will move the body;

17. Lack of focus and attention for any length of time;

18. Heightened, newfound discomfort with some public environments;

19. A sudden urge to make everything spacious, to release personal treasures, or to remove clutter from your environment;

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race,what happens after death,the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric sciences claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search,at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source. I began taking notes for this book over thirty years ago, at the time, writing a book was the farthest thing from my mind. My only thought was to have a journal to read over when I got older. As a result, I didn’t  record some of my references, many of the references were from Aboriginal and Mayan elders themselves, many of which has been the victim of the ravages of time. Hence my book is short on references, but long on experience.

Our Changing World;How to Survive

 

Like everyone else, I’ve been having a lot of doubts about the future of not only our country but the whole world as well.

Without question, the world situation has never been worse in recent history than it is today. One could argue that during the Cuban Missile Crisis  and even during World War 2 , we endured some pretty dramatic times.

The difference this time is that our destruction is coming from within. Not only do we have an outside enemy bent on destroying us. We also have people within our own country and government determined to destroy our way of life. 

We are getting a double whammy and to top it off many people are oblivious to what is going on. Many people are still supporting those who would destroy us. They are still following ideologies from the past that no longer apply.

 Many are so consumed in their daily lives, they don’t have a clue as about what is  transpiring around them.

 We as a nation have fallen so far from our founding ideals, many can no longer recognize the country we are living in. Like the Israelite of old, America no longer follows the time worn teachings and values that made us great.

 Thinking back I can remember a time in the 1950s , when I realized  that this period of time would be like this. Thirty years ago , someone told me about today’s world.

 Even though I realized it, and was later told, it never  sank in until September 11,2001. I never realized there was evil in the world until that day. I knew there were people who did cruel things, but never  thought too much about evil.

 Since then I have seen and experienced evil many times. It is a fact of life.

There are people  who have no conscience or sense of reasoning. Maybe it’s because of their environment, how someone raised them, or maybe they just came in with evil intentions. They are here and they don’t have our best intentions in mind.

 Many of these thoughts have been running through my mind, almost daily. At times, it is hard to think of anything else.

 The many posts on Facebook and other social sites have  led me to believe many others are having the same thoughts. Many are becoming  frustrated as they  watch their country and way of life trickle down the drain.

 We are entering a new era, with many new ideas and thoughts coming into existence. This is a part of our evolution and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Many ideas and customs need to fall by the wayside, but we need to be careful what we discard.

 We cannot throw the baby out with the bath water. We must maintain the basic building blocks of society.

 The universal truths and values on which society depends, and which society will surely  crumble and fall if disregarded.

There is a battle going on between good and evil like has not been seen on planet earth in eons.  People have become so polarized, that it seems as if there isn’t anyway they will ever come together and live in unity again.

 I’m not sure that will happen for a long time. the only thing we can do is take care of ourselves and those who believe as we do . We can’t save everyone, they need to save themselves. It is up to them to which star they hitch their wagon to.

 All is not lost, we, if not all us will survive, we just need to get back on the right track, the path spirit intended for us. Although there are many valid paths and in fact all paths are valid for our spiritual growth, but, there is only one true path .

 The rest are paths that lead us back to the true course we need to follow. The path that will lead America back to it’s destiny, being the “New Jerusalem” ,that Shining City on the Hill.

 As I pondered all this, a dream came to me. I was riding in the front seat of a car driven by my dad, who has passed on. My brother was in the back seat. We passed by a large dairy farm. There were several hundred cows in the feedlot, their stomachs were full as were their udders. Next we drove past a corn field, the corn was tall with three or four ears on each stalk. The roots were deeply embedded into the soil.

 It was revealed to me this symbolized we are living in a land of plenty, and will continue to do so.

 Next I looked off the the west ,there was a large red,white, and blue house sitting on a hill glowing profusely and brightly. This symbolized western civilization and America, that shining city on a hill, surviving it all and being the better for it.

 We will survive, if we stay on the path, and be the better for it.

2012: Beginning of a New Era

Somehow, I knew, even at an early age that this time in history was going to be a very difficult period. I remember when I was quite young , in the 1950s that something was going to be different at this juncture of time. I really didn’t know why, but even though I was only five or six years old and the year 2000 seemed a long way off, something was going to be different.
Little did I realize at the time, the events that were about to take place would shape the future and lead up to this period in history. Certainly the events of the sixties,  the war protests and the anti-establishment movement was a breeding grounds for the events that would take place fifty years later.

Many of the same individuals involved in those movements can now be found creating a disturbance today. They have had fifty years to improve their methods and ideology and it has taken this long to get an administration in the White House as well as many misguided citizens to agree with them.

The misguided liberal, live and let live policies have all contributed to the conflicts we see today. No longer are the values of our ancestors and indeed all ancient cultures honored and observed. People have forgotten that with actions come consequences. Politicians have forgotten who they work for and only bend and sway to the whims of  lobbyists and special interests.

Many would like to throw the constitution out the window and turn this country into a nanny state. Doing so would make the populace dependent on the political class and do much to ensure the political elite had a lifetime career in politics, this is not what the founding fathers had in mind.

But the tide is slowly turning, this period in time was prophesied by many of the ancients, many ancient calendars end during or close to the year 2012. The Hindu, Cherokee, and Mayan, just to name a few. December 21, 2012, the winter solstice, seems to be the most popular date chosen.

What does this mean? Does it mean the world is going to end and everything is destroyed, thereby creating an atmosphere where civilization would have to start all over as it has done in the past? Are all the advances mankind has achieved going down the tubes only to be forgotten and rediscovered again at a later date? Is everything that has been accomplished and discovered over the past ten thousand years for naught and  all forgotten?

It could be , but probably not. The year 2012, signifies a new beginning,karma will be wiped clean and most will start over. It is even
suggested our DNA has been and will be changed and thus our whole persona will be altered. People will become more intuitive and feel a closer connection to their higher self and or creator. All this will no doubt change the world and how we react to our environment and each other.  Will it mean the end to war and conflict? Who knows, we have been promised a thousands years of peace. It seems hard to believe that could happen, but I never thought the Berlin Wall would come down either.

Whatever the future holds, one thing is for sure, most of us will be here to experience it, in one form or another.It is us to decide what we want our future to be.

The Origin of Christmas

Many think Christmas  as a relatively new holiday and associate it with the birth of Christ.  

The birth of Christ is now celebrated during the winter solstice, even though many now believe Jesus was born in the spring. There are many  logical reasons for Christ to have been born during the spring season, the most obvious reason  being this is the only time shepherds would have watched over their flocks because in the early spring is when  the sheep  give birth to young lambs.

Christmas actually dates back to ancient Pagan holidays and even to a time  before that. December 25th  is  the date given for the birth of Jesus, Buddha, and Mithra (600) B.C.

Mithra was born  in Persia on Dec. 25th as an offspring of the sun. He was called the good shepherd and was represented by both the lion and the lamb. He was buried in a tomb and arose again three days later on what is now  Easter Sunday. Mithranic worship flourished as late as the
second century A.D, so some of those traditions could have carried over
to Christianity.

Christmas is celebrated during the winter solstice for when the sun rises during the winter solstice, Virgo, the mother sign of the zodiac first appears above the morning horizon symbolically holding a child in her arms, and pursued by a serpent directly under her feet.

Many other cultures of the world, Egypt (Isis and Osiris), the Maya and Buddha of India hold this same symbolism. The ancient Australian Aborigines also have a Rainbow Serpent in their dream time legends.

Many of the traditional trappings of Christmas such as the tree, gifts, decorations and others all date back to Pagan religions and before to Persia and the Middle East.

The Christmas tree  has it’s roots beginning with the “Tree  of Life”  and to an earlier time when life existed in the frozen northlands of Siberia and beyond. At that period of time it became a sacred symbol signifying a rebirth of the world when the sun  again began its journey
north and the days were becoming longer.

Even before the birth of Christ, people in the Roman Empire would bring branches from evergreen trees inside in the winter to brighten the environment.

Decorating with greenery was also part of Jewish tradition  “Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. ” (Leviticus
23:40)

The idea of a gift bearer was largely a European tradition while  Santa Claus was born in the United States. The Christmas legend has now spread around the world and through the years has gained a large popularity even in non Christan cultures, thus in modern times it has become a worldwide tradition.

What is the Definition of Paranormal?

Paranormal is a generic term used to describe unusual phenomena or other experiences that lack an obvious explanation. Used in the field of parapsychology it can be used to describe telepathy, ESP, ghosts, UFO’s, past lives, psychic healing and a large variety of other fields.

Explaining or proving paranormal activities is difficult because there normally is no proof it actually exists, although the experiences appear to be very real. As the experiences exist outside the realm of conventional norms, skeptics contend they don’t exist at all. By the time we pass on we all have large amounts of written evidence  concerning our lives, the reliability is based solely on the memory of the writer, so due to that fact, it really is not much more reliable than written evidence concerning paranormal activity.

Parapsychologists look for quantitative evidence of the paranormal, most people that become involved, immense themselves in participant research where they actually experience the events themselves. This is normally engaged in because of some experiences they have encountered, normally through no conscious effort on their part.

We each experience our own reality, two people observing the same conscious event, rather it be a sporting event, natural disaster or whatever, will have a slightly different account of what occurred.

What is Life all About

We often wonder why we have to endure hardships. Many times people lose faith in God because they believe that if there was a loving God he would make everything perfect and life would be free of pain and suffering. Many would like to be able to sit around, eat grapes and sing kumbaya all day long.

It is only human nature to look for the easy way out and blame our problems on someone else or even God. However, blaming someone else for our misfortunes and hardships is not only counterproductive but can actually delay our advancement  toward whatever goals we have in life.

We were all put here on school house earth to learn and grow spiritually. This being the case our soul needs to experience all things in order to reach its highest potential.  We cannot  grow if someone else, including God, is doing everything for us.

It isn’t God’s job to protect us from all of life’s hardships and trials. God’s job is to guide us through our challenges so we may reach the end of our life smarter wiser and more in touch with the God Source.

There is no such thing as social justice, our main objective in reincarnating  on planet earth is to become perfect in our relationship with our God. That is how perfection is obtained, perfection has nothing to do with our physical attributes, abilities or characteristics.

In most cases, we didn’t come to earth to enjoy the good life and have God or others provide everything to us, our reason for existing is to open the channel of communication with the Supreme Being thereby walking in the path to enlightenment. Once that channel is open and remains open, then it is possible to enjoy the fruits of our labors to the highest good of all concerned.

It is through hardship we learn enlightenment, once enlightenment is achieved hardship disappears from our lives. that is not to say trials and challenges no longer enter our lives, it just means we learn to deal and solve them in a more positive way. We realize challenges are a necessary part of life, we encounter them to learn  and evolve where they no longer have a major impact on our lives.

In fact, many times we welcome the challenges of life and look at every circumstance in life as a positive event and when it passes we reflect on what the life experience taught us and are then willing to move onto the next challenge.

A Change of Plans

Sometimes an upcoming event will seem to be  a sure thing , but we find later it was just a stimulus to prepare us for something else. We find if we had not planned ahead , a very important function in  our life would not have taken place.
This was the case in 1984, I had replied to an ad in Outdoor Photography. A man living in Zambia was needing to communicate with someone in the states ,film processing was difficult there and he needed someone to process film for him. I replied, as it sounded like a lucrative business proposition, he even mentioned paying for my passage to Zambia for business purposes. What did I have to lose, he was going to pick up the tab.

The trip was to take place in a few months so I began to make plans and applied for a passport. When I applied for the passport, the birth certificate I had wasn’t the correct one.  I didn’t realize the hospital birth certificate wasn’t a legal document ,so  first off, I had to apply for a new birth certificate from the county health department.

After receiving the correct birth certificate, I noticed my first name was spelled differently than the way I had been spelling it all my life. My name was spelled Garald on the birth certificate and I had been spelling it Gerald all these years. The funny part about it, people had always called me Garald instead of Gerald. Quite a revelation.

Evidently the doctor had written it down wrong at my birth,and my parents weren’t even aware of the error.  The original birth certificate couldn’t be changed so we  decided to make my passport match my drivers license as no one in customs  was going to see my birth certificate anyway.

As things progressed, many unseen circumstances prevented me from traveling to Zambia. The adventure was all but forgotten.

Two years had gone by and as I sat reading the morning paper the Sunday before Thanksgiving, a travel ad caught my eye. A group trip was being planned for the two weeks after Christmas to Egypt , it was leaving on December 26th., only five weeks away,  and the price was fantastic.

I had some time off after Christmas and so far had no plans. I realized this would be perfect! There isn’t much to do in Indiana this time of year, the weather is cold and snowy, it would be a good time to travel to a warmer climate. I had been wondering whatever possessed me to take a vacation at this time of year, now I had my answer.

I immediately called and made a reservation, I was on my way to the land of the Pharaoh. The next five weeks flew by, being extremely busy with my work I had little time to think about the trip.
As the time approached, I suddenly realized, it takes at least six weeks to apply for and receive a passport, if I hadn’t gotten a passport when I was thinking of going to Zambia, this trip would never have materialized and I would have missed one of the great adventures of my life.

When life throws you a curve ball, either duck or swing at it, get back up and be prepared for a fast ball right down the middle. You will then be able to hit it out of the park.

event, we always get a second chance. It may take a while because once a decision is made and the universe goes about fulfilling our wishes, we do have to live with the consequences.

However, the laws of karma always plays itself out and as soon as we begin to desire a different future, the universe again begins to arrange itself so we can have our hearts desire.  Your second chance will come, you just need to prepare for it and be ready to take advantage of it when the opportunity arises.

There is always a reason something doesn’t materialize, many times there are life lessons to be learned and once the lessons are absorbed into our consciousness, we find the second chance is justifiably the correct choice. The first opportunity was just a practice run to prepare us for the real thing. This is sometimes hard to understand when the first opportunity is missed, we can often unnecessarily regret passing up what we thought was our Golden Opportunity.

How do you recognize the second chances that come your way?  

You will begin to see a pattern developing, a pattern that relates positively to the first circumstance and begins to stimulate your
consciousness that something big is about to happen. 
You will begin to start thinking of the long ago opportunity and remember the good feelings you had. This is the time to let go of it and start thinking about how your experience from that time can help you realize your dream. In the process, forgive others as well as yourself, realize it was all meant as a learning experience and move on.

Develop a positive attitude, expect the best and look for the good in all situations, leave all negativity behind you, don’t think even one
negative thought , focus on what you would like the  final outcome to be. It is very important to expect a positive outcome and what you desire or something better, sometimes the universe has a better plan than we can imagine. You will have a choice as to accept the outcome or pass it up, don’t always take the first dog out of the chute, there will be other  chances, if you desire something better, wait.

Learn to live one day at a time,when the day is finished, be done with it, it’s over and you can’t change the past, this is part of the learning process as you progress toward enlightenment. Don’t spend needless hours worrying about what you did wrong or could have done differently, there are no mistakes or accidents, only learning experiences.  

As long as you maintain a positive attitude and focus on your goals it will all end with your highest good in mind.

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race,what happens after death,the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric science’s claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search, at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source.

Your Life Plan

Life plan

As we travel through life , we slowly begin to realize there is some
sort of Grand Design to not only our life , but the lives of people
around us. We slowly realize the final outcome of our life is largely
determined by the decisions we make in our youth and maybe even earlier.

Later in life we  continuously make  decisions  that shape and change our destiny.
Every
thought , word and deed we commit has a great bearing on what we
become. In spite of all this,  there is even a greater influence on our
lives, it’s the Grand Design we all agree to before entering the earth
existence.

This
Grand Design is placed in play by not only the Grand Architect of the
Universe, but it is also agreeable to by us before birth. This Grand
Plan lays out our life and the path we need to follow for the highest
level of growth and happiness.  It isn’t confining or restricting, it
only exemplifies the least we can accomplish and still reach our goals.

It
is not an iron clad agreement and we are free to change it at any time.
However, when we struggle against our mission in life , we will never
be happy or content, and we will find ourselves dissatisfied with life.
This malcontent is often at the root of many of our frustrations and
many times leads to alcoholism and various physical and emotional
ailments that can lead to much personal tragedy in life.

Many
times this Plan will push us past what we thought our physical and
emotional limits are. Many times we will feel uncomfortable and not want
to go on, this is the time we need to go outside the box and discover
new areas of expertise and strength. That is part of the Grand Design.

We
don’t all have grandiose and great missions in life, perhaps yours is
to assist someone else, or raise a child and provide a good home for a
family. These life missions are just as important , if not more
important than being a world leader. Many times our mission in life is
to just enjoy life and enjoy the fruits of our labors from a previous
existence.

Not
every lifetime can be a earth shattering experience where we make huge
contributions to society and mankind, sometimes we just need to chill
out and enjoy the earth experience. The soul needs to experience every
form of life to grow to it’s highest potential and rejoin with the God
Head.
Whatever you mission in life enjoy and take from it the knowledge you need to gain.

The Will of God

It
is not always easy for us to know what God’s Will is. There are many
misconceptions about what is meant. Many fundamentalists believe it
means a life of sacrifice and giving up all of life’s  pleasures.

Nothing
can be further from the truth, God would not have provided all that he
has if he had meant for us to not partake in the rewards of life. While
it is true some sacrifice is involved,life isn’t meant to be all work
and no play.

While
there is some sacrifice involved, it only means giving up some of our
animalistic instincts and developing self control. It means taking control of your life and treating others as you would be treated.

It
means living by the Will of God, or doing as your higher self or God
would desire you to do. This is different for every one, we each come
into this life with different life paths to follow. Hence doing “your”
Will of God can be different than someone else’s.

In
a way it has more to do with following that small voice inside each of
us and allowing it to guide us in making the right decisions in life.
 It has much to do with character building, probably even more than
treating others correctly. If we work on improving ourselves, then
treating others correctly will come naturally.

Forgiveness
is important, however that doesn’t mean we always give others a free
pass on their transgressions. They also need to be accountable for their
deeds.  It means providing others a means to learn, grow, and provide
for their basic needs. It doesn’t mean providing a handout unless they
are unable to provide for themselves.

When
their karma is interfered with and we take the opportunity from them to
support themselves and families, a great injustice is done to them.
They then become slaves to the providers, that is not God’s Will. God
wants all of us to be free to make our own decisions and learn and grow
from the experience.

God’s
Will can mean many things to many people depending upon how they were
taught growing up. However, there are as many misconceptions in this
field as there are in any phase of life. I strongly feel following the
Will of God has less to do with how we treat others and more to do with
following the guidance we receive from “The Source”. If we follow the
true instincts felt in our gut, we will be following the Will of God,
and all other aspects of our life will fall into place.
