The world is changing and changing rapidly. Old values and traditions are falling as new ones take their place.

Without a doubt, many old customs need to fall by the wayside, however, we need to be careful and not throw the baby out with the bath water. Too many of the values that have supported and guided mankind throughout the ages are also being questioned and many times discarded like yesterday’s fish dinner.

If mankind is to survive and evolve through the ages, there are certain universal truths that can never be discarded. The “Universal Truths” are set in stone and often referred to as God’s Laws”, or the Laws of Nature, or “Nature’s Laws”, these laws are based not only in common sense but on the laws of physics as well.

Most look upon God’s Laws as only those mentioned in the Bible or some other spiritual text. The laws of nature refer to not only these laws but to all actions that determine and control all human life and endeavors. They refer to not only such teachings as the Ten Commandments and the golden rule but to such things as the law of gravity and the laws of actions and consequences.

Winning The Big Game

 

Life was a lot slower and simpler in the fifties and sixties.

Our freshman year, the varsity team won a sectional game but were defeated the next game, thus ended our quest for a state championship.

It was an Indiana custom for a school to have a celebration if their team won any championship games in the state playoffs.

We never won a championship, but our team had won a game, the school administration decided we should celebrate, so they scheduled a school dance the Monday morning following the sectional. It turned out to be quite a big deal; luckily, I had worn my peg leg blue jeans and white bucks to school that day.

Is There A Connection Between Mood Altering Drugs and Transgenders

 

Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.

Recently an associate mentioned to me that when kids are given mood altering drugs such as Ritalin, it not only alters their mood but in reality, puts them in a continuous stupor.

The mind altering drugs such as Ritalin can also dull their sexual drive, as a result, some, when reaching their teenage formative years then resort to cocaine and other drugs to lift them up and make them feel good.

In today’s world, there seems to be an awful lot of people, even teen, who are resorting to becoming a transgender. 

Is is possible that because of the drug use, both legal and illegal, that their minds are being altered in such a way to make them confused about their own sexuality? 

Just a thought and I’m sure the medical community will disavow this, but maybe sometime in the future, the truth will come out.

American’s creed

I do not choose to be a common man, it is my right to be uncommon.

I seek the opportunity to develop whatever talents God gave me, Not security.

I do not wish to be a melt citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.

I want to take the calculated risk to dream and to build. To fail and to succeed.

I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence, the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.

I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my duty for a handout.

I will never cower before any earthly master nor bend to any threat.

It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid, to think and act myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say this with God’s help, I have done all this.

This is what it means to be an American.

Saint Lucia in the Caribbean Ocean

Saint Lucia

One of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean Ocean is Saint Lucia.

he tiny village of Soufrière, Saint Lucia.  

Saint Lucia is an Eastern Caribbean island nation with a pair of dramatically tapered mountains, the Pitons, on its west coast.

Saint Lucia is considered part of the Windward Islands and gets its name from the French who named it after St. Lucy of Syracuse. The first inhabitants were the Native American Arawaks.

Growing up on a dairy farm in southeastern Indiana, Gary traveled very little until midlife, when the opportunity became available to him.

Grabbing his camera and a bag full of equipment, he began his vision quest traveling to most areas of the United States and several countries abroad.

Along the way, he collected several thousand photographs that he wants to share with everyone.

Gary decided the best way to accomplish his goal was to publish photo documentaries on the various areas of the world he has visited.

What will follow will be several photography books, who knows how many will wind up in his collection.

The Masonic Influence on World History

The laws of nature influence every phase of human existence.  Like it or not we are all governed by them in all walks of life. But that doesn’t mean we are held captive to what God thinks, we all have free will, we are controlled by our actions as it relates to our future. When we act in a certain manner, it will determine what we experience in the future.

This influences every aspect of our life. We sow what we reap.

If we treat others badly or spend foolishly, it will come back to bite us sooner or later, it’s a law of nature, there is no getting around it. Some call it karma.

In this day and age, many think they can do or say as they please and there will be no consequences.

In this live and let live society, many think there are no consequences for their actions and others just have to deal with the improper actions they perform, they just have to get over it.

Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. Sooner or later, the chickens will come home to roost.

Being An Aborigine

The aborigines of Australia, an interesting culture

 

Many areas of the Aboriginal way of life is misunderstood.

Being an aborigine is a way of life or religion, more than a race, anyone can adapt the ways of the aborigine and become an aborigine.

The true aborigine is Caucasian. when some of them took their shirt off, their chests were white. They are dark because they have lived in the sun for thousands of years.

The Mystery of the Pyramids

 

Mysterious Egypt, land of a thousand years

Many legends and much speculation in Egyptian mythology surround the pyramids and why they were built, as well as to how they were built. They have been described as being burial tombs for the pharaohs and Egyptian Gods, giant observatories, ceremonial sites where many ancient rituals were performed, and many other functions. Although it is my understanding that no one has ever been found buried in a pyramid, all of the other functions seem to make sense. The giant pyramid, or pyramid of Cheops(Khufu), is perfectly aligned with the four cardinal points of the earth, following and extending one line along the base, it would pass through Bethlehem, another line would extend through Stonehenge in England. Various points line up perfectly with different constellations that were of importance to the ancient Egyptians.

Much has been written trying to explain how they were built, using pulleys, ramps, and thousands of workman to construct them, not much of it makes sense. Built on the highest ground for miles, it’s hard to visualize how ramps could have been built, also, there would still be evidence of the ramps. In an extremely arid climate, structures and the evidence of structures last for thousands of years. The tremendous manpower needed to build the edifices would have been staggering, how do you move a stone, some of which weigh 40 tons and are as large as a train locomotive up a ramp three hundred feet high?

Probably the most logical explanation as to how they were built, when they were built, and by whom is also the most illogical. Many legends persist that they were built by either extraterrestrials or refugees from Atlantis, who escaped to Egypt when their land sank beneath the sea some twelve thousand years ago. Theoretically, either could be true. There is much evidence that planet earth has been visited many times by life forms from beyond our galaxy and there is also evidence of a land existing in the Atlantic  Ocean before our present era.

How were they built, only time will tell.

Sydney Harbor is one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. The flight path takes the plane over the cliffs in Sydney Harbor.  As I observed the Opera House and Sydney Bridge from my window seat, the plane began its descent into Sydney airport. the adventure was about to begin.
