Cumberland Maryland

Cumberland was once known as “The Queen City of the Alleghenies”.
Surrounded by rolling hills, winding waterways and scenic mountains, it was once the second largest city in Maryland.

Cumberland’s economic prosperity has always centered around it  position as a transportation hub linking the east coast and the midwest and beyond. Because of it’s position near a gap in the mountains , it was the starting point for the nations first road, the National Highway, later designated as highway 40 which eventually stretched from sea to shining sea.

The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal also provide an important link to cities in the east.

Rich in history , the city played a vital role in the early days of our country. Later coal mining played a major role.

Today Cumberland is the commercial and rail road center of western Maryland, along with that the area is beginning to develop as a major tourist and recreation area because of it’s rich history and many natural resources.

Many service-related industries have emerged over the past 20 years,
particularly in the areas of tourism and entertainment, focusing around
Cumberland’s rich history, natural beauty, and cultural resources.

Even with the rapid growth of the service Industry, Cumberland still ranks near the bottom as one of the poorest communities in the nation.

Coming to the Aid of a Brother

The evening began as any other. I was at home preparing dinner when the phone ran. It was a friend of mine and he was concerned about
his brother. It seems Jim had talked with his brother earlier and he seemed rather disoriented. Some of the things he said were incoherent and didn’t make any sense.  Jim wanted me to go with him to see if we could find his brother and determine what the issues were.

His brother had recently became a member of the masonic lodge and was muttering something about it that didn’t make any sense. Jim thought
since I belonged to the masons I could help.Since there is nothing in the MASONIC RITUALS that should cause anyone alarm, I had no  idea what
this could all be about, confused, I decided to go.

Jim’s brother was thought to be at work , but we weren’t really sure where he was, and we really didn’t want to go wandering around a big factory , we decided to drive past his house first on the slim chance he didn’t go to work. That didn’t work in our favor, he wasn’t home. The next stop was to check out a local bar, he was known to frequent. No luck there either. Driving to the factory where he worked the second shift, we first drove
through the parking lots to see if we could find his truck. Traveling up and down many rows of vehicles, his truck was nowhere to be found.

Deciding to chance it, we walked into the plant, security was never very high at this company and we could wander around anywhere we wanted to go and not be questioned. Of course, his work station had to be near the center of the plant.

I had never met the man so I had no idea who I was looking for. Finally, Jim spotted him near his work station. Approaching him he seemed a
little confused. Jim introduced us and his brother looked to me to say something, having no idea what was going on in his mind, I decided to play it by ear and just say whatever came to mind.

Not knowing where else to go, I said something about him joining the masons. He responded to the affirmative, which lead  nowhere. Reaching
at straws and grasping a subject that had absolutely nothing to do with masonic ritual, I asked him if he believed in reincarnation.

Although there is nothing in the rituals about reincarnation, the subject of raising from the dead is discussed. As I mentioned this, I saw a gleam
in his eye and knew I had hit a home run. He responded that he did, but really didn’t know much about it and was afraid to discuss it with anyone for fear of humiliation and condemnation.

I responded that I did believe in it and despite there being nothing in the masonic work that refers to reincarnation, there are references that
could be construed as such.

We went on to discuss the subject for a while and with that he seemed satisfied and more relaxed. We bid our farewells and left the building.

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race,what happens after death,the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric sciences claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search, at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source.

Conflict in the middle east

For many years, the United States has played a major role in maintaining peace in the world. During that time, contrary to what many may think, the United States accomplished much and contributed greatly to world peace.Today, many people  enjoy freedom because of our actions.

 

If not for the United states, many  would now be speaking German and under the thumb of Nazism and or Communism. However, the times are changing.

We are now living in a different world. In times past, our adversaries had some of the same values we had, they valued human life.  Most were freedom loving people who for one reason or another, found themselves under the thumb of a cruel and violent dictator. Once freedom was again regained, they went on to create a productive and positive society.

In today’s world, many of  our adversaries in the middle east have no comprehension of what freedom is , nor do they desire it. They are still living in the middle ages and have no desire to change.

Egyptian Village

It’s a totally different mindset than in the past. Although, in most cases, our intentions are noble, we cannot do it for them. We can provide aid, weapons and such, but if they have no desire, there is nothing we can do. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.

For generations, the United States has supported the world, both militarily and financially. As a result , many countries have better educational and medical facilities than we do. Because they did not have to worry about providing a strong military for their defense, they could provide many more domestic benefits for their citizens.

We have now reached a point in time when it is necessary for them to support themselves. No longer should we be the sole provider for their security, why do we still have troops in South Korea? Their GNP  is something like 37 times as great as North Korea, shouldn’t they be protecting themselves?

The Ancient Egyptian Texts

The middle east is and always has been a tinderbox. This has been going on for thousands of years, dating back to the time of the Knights Templars and before.  Our first war as a country was against the Barbary Pirates off the coast of Africa, who were pirating our ships and blackmailing our young country almost to the point of bankruptcy. The Marine song was derived from this time, “From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli.”

Today we no longer know who the good guys are in that region, if there are any. Our country wants to support the Syrian rebels who are our fiercest enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood. We have seen how that turned out in Egypt. For too long we have supplied arms to these groups, only to turn around and have those same guns pointed at us during the next conflict. How stupid is that?

It is a mess we want to stay out of , in spite of all the atrocities being committed, they are being committed on both sides. It’s a lose lose situation. The only option we have is to stay out of it, it’s not our fight.  Let them fight it out and we will talk to the survivors.

So it is with the rest of the world, we do need to maintain some sort of a presence worldwide, we need to maintain our superiority in the world environment, for not only our interests but the rest of the free world as well. There are countries out there that would destroy freedom in  a heartbeat if it  wasn’t for the United States, we must never forget that.

However, we do not need to play mommy and daddy to them any longer, it’s time they grew up and charted their own destiny, most can do a lot more than they have to protect their own interests. It’s not only for our own good, but theirs as well.

There are many stories related to the sinking
of the “Titanic.”
Some have just come to light due to the success of the recent
movie. For example, most people don’t know that back in 1912
Hellman’s mayonnaise was manufactured in England. The
“Titanic” was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled
for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico which was to be the next port
of call for the great ship after New York City.

The Mexican people were eagerly awaiting delivery and were
disconsolate at the loss. So much so that they declared a
national day of mourning which they still observe today.

Martinsburg West Virginia

Martinsburg West Virginia is home to the oldest working train station in the United States. Built in 1847 it is one of the few structures in Martinsburg to survive the Civil war. It is now a designated National Historic Landmark.

The old roundhouse , significant because of it’s architecture,the role it played in the 1877 Great Rail Road strike,  and because it was the site where confederate troops actually stole a train loaded with supplies and munitions during the Civil war,  is also a National Historic Landmark.

Because of it’s location, the town and railroad subsequently changed hands many times.Through these gently rolling hills and peaceful meadows  both the union and confederate troops jockeyed for position to and from such battles as Gettysburg, Antietam, and Monocacy.

What is a Twin Flame

Many often ask ,”What is a twin flame?”

Twin flames are described as  one soul  living in two separate bodies. As hard to believe as this is , it is true. At the time of creation , when all souls were created, the souls split into two separate entities so each soul could experience all of creation on two different levels at the same time,thus doubling their experience. The soul also needed to experience duality and separation.

 

All religions and spiritual beliefs exemplify this with such stories as Adam and Eve thus illustrated in the Christian Holy Bible. The bible story says that a rib was taken from Adam by which Eve was created to be his equal partner. Not necessarily equal in all areas, but to compliment him and thus contribute to the whole. In practice, man would be superior in some phases of the human experience and woman would be more skilled in other areas, thus they would make a complete whole.

For many millennia they have coexisted, meeting in lifetime after lifetime as separate entities and in different life scenarios, playing out their lifetime drama in different role models, often being siblings, mates, children, parents, and so forth.

Throughout time this separation  has created conflict. Many souls could sense something more was possible than in any relationship they were having at the time,many souls thus searched outside their present relationship for that perfect bond.

Because of  the shift brought about with the dawning of a new age, many are now finding their twin flame and in time, when both have evolved sufficiently for the union to take place,will reunite with them. When they do , they will meet on the deepest soul level,deep inside the heart, (The Sanctum Sanctorum) where a Golden Fire burns,there they connect with the God Force and become one once again.

Deep inside the soul is where creation takes place, and as they unite in the sacred place, they will finally begin to consciously create their reality and guide their future the way they desire, for the highest good.
