God’s Will:What is it?

People are often confused by what is meant by the “Will of God”. Many assume God would only want the best for us and would want to keep us from harm and evil. They often question why bad things happen to good people and why only the good die young, while many times the presumed bad often escape the consequences of bad behavior and poor judgment.

Even though it is hard to envision and understand in many instances, everything happens for a reason.Every circumstance in our life is presented for a purpose and given to us so we may learn and grow from it. Sometimes this is a hard lesson to learn and a big pill to swallow.

If one takes the time to look back through their life and is open minded about it, you begin to realize your most important  and valuable lessons in life were realized after and during some extreme hardship you encountered. We learn and grow more rapidly because of our so called negative experiences than from our positive encounters.

One often finds that if the lesson isn’t comprehended the first time, the same learning experience will be afforded to us again and again unit the course is finally understood, we take action to avoid the result of our actions and we move on.

Sooner or later one begins to realize we are responsible for our actions and our reality. Every situation in our life, we

, on some level of consciousness, create for ourselves so we may learn and grow from it.

This is a hard concept for most of us to comprehend when we are walking through the darkness and enduring much pain and suffering. Many wonder why they would voluntarily accept such agony in their life. This is something each soul has to come to terms with in their own way and time.
No one can walk the path for you, no one can fix your problems but you.

Humanity is continuously looking for someone to  rescue them, sorry it isn’t going to happen. Many great teachers have come and gone, and many wait for their return. The Mesoamericans were looking for a savior, when the one whom they thought was “the one”,  arrived he raped, killed and destroyed them.

The great teachers have shown us the way, it is up to the individual to follow their own path to return to the knowing of their power and ability to create the life they would desire, without all the drama.

When a soul suffers enough and realizes it is part of the Godhead, and thus deserves a more enjoyable existence. It will eventually find the way to a path that leads away from all the heartaches of life.

God’s Will is actually our will, he only presents opportunities for our life, it is our choice which one we accept. Regardless of what we choose, every circumstance is a learning experience from which we can learn much.

We all have free will, that is our birthright. It encompasses every aspect of our life. If we have the freewill to choose to have a hot
fudge sundae or a banana split, we also  have free will over every aspect of our life, you can’t pick and choose when to have free will or not have it.

If one chooses to not have free will, that only proves you have it. You can’t choose not to have it without having it  in the first place. God’s will is that we learn and grow and return to our birthright.

I post regularly, if you would like to follow me, my posts are available on Kindle.

one life

Is there life after death? Do we really have encounters with beings from other dimensions and planets? Is there proof?

Why is Obama Getting a Free Pass?

There isn’t any logical way that Obama should have  been  elected   President
of the United States. He is grossly unqualified, he has never held a
leadership position in his life, Community Organizer does not qualify
one to be President. The only function of  a Community Organizer  is  to
twist people’s arms to become a member of the Chicago Democratic Party.
No one questioned his qualifications, no one except Fox News ever
questioned anything he  said or did.

The first time I saw him I realized he was going to be a problem, he was
speaking at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. Lying on our
living room couch when he began to speak, I sat straight up and shouted ,
“ My God, this guy is going to be trouble.” For some reason I knew then
this was going to be an experience America would be better off not
having.

Early in the 2008 campaign , it was disclosed he and his family had been
attending a church on the south side of Chicago where the services were
conducted by a Reverend Wright, a radical, racist minister who
frequently spouted hated and racism from the pulpit. After tapes of his
racist sermons were exposed, Obama explained he had never heard one of
his extreme sermons in the twenty years he attended this church, and
everybody believed him. How can you sit in a church like that and not
hear those awful sermons? If he is that naive, that should disqualify
him . Would you let your children listen to that?

The longer it went, the worse it became. His association with known 60s
radicals, Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn became known, no one paid
attention. His associations with known Muslim radicals and questions
about his citizenship and how he financed his college all became known
and no one paid any attention.

The Reverend Wright controversy should have disqualified him in 2008,and no
one paid any attention. In spite of all that , and the immense
popularity of Obama, McCain and Palin were still ahead in the polls when
the September 2008 financial crisis hit, that event  took the momentum
away from McCain /Palin and everyone started blaming Bush for something
that had been building for many years.

It  seemed like divine intervention in reverse, it was  as if it was part
of some divine plan, nothing was going to prevent Obama from being
President. The one factor that was really hard to understand was the
Jewish obsession with Obama, If I was Jewish, I would be extremely
suspicious of someone with a name like Hussein, Most Christians or Jews
don’t name their child Hussein.

In the 2012 Presidential election, Romney was surging in the polls and on
the verge of victory when hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey and New York
causing widespread damage. During the aftermath, Chris Christie the
Republican Governor of New Jersey  ran around hugging Obama and begging
for help from the federal government. Needless to say, New Jersey needed
all the assistance they could get, however due to Christie’s
unwarranted affection he displayed to Obama, all the attention was
distracted from Romney and he lost his momentum. As a result Obama won
handily, but there is a deeper question that needs to be answered.

Why is no one questioning his motives, why is it that everything he does is
glossed over by the media? Why does everyone treat Obama like a God,
some one who is going to save us from ourselves?

First Obama is acting like Santa Claus, handing out free stuff to everyone
who will take them, thus he is buying votes with taxpayer money. It’s
hard to beat Santa Claus in an election. In today’s climate a lot of Americans have become entitlement driven, they expect someone to give
them something for nothing, and they want it now. It all sounds good
until the bills come due.

Secondly, humanity is always looking for a savior, someone to escort them to the
Pearly Gates with no effort on their part. People always want someone
else to do everything for them. This is a nice theory , however , it
doesn’t work. We each are responsible for our own salvation, we have to
save ourselves. Others can show us the way, but we, as individual beings
need to walk our own path.

Obama and others in government are making promises they cannot keep, what
happens when everyone figures this out, and the bank is overdrawn? Will
people finally return to their spiritual roots, and will it be in time?

Humanity has traveled down this path many times before, The Ancient Maya , as
well as many others were looking for a savior, and when the savior
arrived, he killed and enslaved them. How many times does humanity need
to fall for this before they finally learn?

Bad News From Santa

Bad News from Santa Claus

To Whom it May Concern:

Mrs. Claus and I regret to inform you that effective immediately, I
will no longer be able to service the Southern United States on
Christmas Eve. Due to overwhelming current population of the earth, my
contract was renegotiated by North American Fairies and Elves Local 209.
I now serve only certain areas of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin
and Michigan.

As part of the new and better contract I also get longer breaks for milk and cookies so keep that in mind.

However, I’m certain that your children will be in good hands with
your local replacement who happens to be my third cousin, Bubba Claus.
His side of the family is from the South pole. He shares my goal of
delivering toys to all the good boys and girls. However, there are a few
differences between us, including:

1. There is no danger of a Grinch stealing your presents from
Bubba Claus. He has a gun rack on his sleigh and a bumper sticker that
reads: “These toys insured by Smith & Wesson.”

2. Instead of milk and cookies, Bubba Claus prefers that children
leave a RC Cola and peanut patty (or a Moon Pie) on the fireplace. And
Bubba doesn’t smoke a pipe. He dips a little snuff though, so please
have an empty spit can handy.

3. Bubba Claus’ sleigh is pulled by floppy-eared, flyin’ coon dogs
instead of reindeer. I made the mistake of loaning him a couple of my
reindeer one time, and Blitzen’s head now overlooks Bubba’s fireplace.

4. You won’t hear “On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen…” when
Bubba Claus arrives. Instead you’ll hear, “On Earnhardt, on Wallace, on
Martin and LaBonte. On Rudd, on Jarrett, on Elliot and Petty.”

5. “Ho, ho, ho!” has been replaced by “Yee Haw!” And you also are likely to hear Bubba’s elves reply, “I her’d dat!”

6. As required by Southern highway laws, Bubba Claus’ sleigh does
have a Yosemite Sam safety triangle on the back with the words, “Back
Off!”

7. Bubba Claus doesn’t wear a belt. If I were you, I’d make sure you,
the wife, and the kids turn the other way when he bends over to put
presents under the tree.

8. Bubba Claus refuses to wear the standard issue Santa cap because
he says it makes him look like a girly-boy. He has been granted
permission to wear a white Stetson with a red band instead, as well as
black cowboy boots.

Sincerely Yours,

Santa Claus
(Member, North American Fairies and Elves Local 209)

Sarah and a Friend on the
Street

Sarah and a friend were walking down the
street. Sarah noticed a
compact on the sidewalk and leaned down to pick it up. She opened it,
looked in the mirror and said, “Hmmm, this person looks familiar.”

Her friend said, “Let me look!”

So Sarah handed her the compact.

Her friend looked in the mirror and said,
“You dumbie, of course she
looks familiar, it’s me!”

2012, Are We Looking for a Savior

YOUR FAVORITE BELIZE SUPERSTORE

It seems humanity is always looking for a savior, someone to save them from themselves. This concept has gone on forever, from the beginning of time.

Every religion and culture has always looked to the heavens for someone of superior knowledge to lead the way to salvation. Many Christians look to Jesus and other religions and beliefs look to his counterpart as well, many look for some extraterrestrial being to land in a spaceship and whisk them away to a distant peaceful planet to live out the rest of the days of their existence.

At this particular period in time the Mayans are getting all of the press. Because the Mayan long calendar completes its cycle on December 21st, 2012, people again are looking for some miracle to occur.

The Mayas, as well as the Incas and Aztecs were looking for Quetzalcoatl, a white fair skinned  warrior to come and save them. Unfortunately for the Meso-Americans when  Cortez arrived, whom they had mistaken for Quetzalcoatl, he raped, massacred, robbed, and killed most of them.

In today’s world many people are looking for someone in government to “do it all” for them and create an environment where people will have to do very little and have the government provide all the trappings of a successful life without providing any effort.

People around the world and especially in America, “the shining city on the hill,” have forgotten where they came from. They have strayed from the teachings of the ancients. Just as the ancient Mayas and Australian Aborigines strayed and have lost their culture, so has the western world strayed from it’s roots.

There is an old saying that if one doesn’t believe in God, they believe in government, this is so true today, we see it everywhere.People keep putting their trust in elected officials who have the morals and ethics of an alley cat. The only value these officials have is the value of the  vote they can get because government has taken something  from one group that has worked very hard to earn it, and given it to another group who has done nothing but whine, thus making the receiver dependent
on the government and unable to survive without their assistance.

I have come to believe there is no savior, there are great teachers that lead the way, and when we listen to their words and advice, we will achieve salvation and a good happy life, but it is up to us to follow their wisdom. Didn’t Jesus say,”These things that I do, you can do also?” He also said,”The kingdom of God is within.”

We must learn, it is their wisdom and not them personally. This in no way lessens their importance or value, they were all great teachers, but no one can do it for you, you have to do it yourself.

Will there be a second coming? I believe the second coming is a personal thing, we each experience it individually, if a savior suddenly appeared, how would it change things, you would still have to get up and go to work tomorrow, and many would still doubt, the world’s population can’t even agree on whole the savior would be.

The second coming comes from within, God is within, we each carry a spark of God within us. Realizing we are a part of God and that we have direct access to his knowledge without outside assistance is paramount to our salvation and advancement as an enlightened being.

Enlightenment

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race, what happens after death, the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric sciences claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search, at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source.

State Capitols

Sarah was very upset at all the dumb Sarah
jokes she was repeatedly
hearing. She decided that she would learn all the state capitals in an
effort to defend Sarahs everywhere. She went home and spent the entire
evening learning them all.

The next day, someone at
her office told a dumb Sarah joke and she
immediately retorted, “Hey … I bet I know something that ALL of
you don’t know. I know ALL of the state capitals which proves
that not all Sarahs are dumb.”

The people in her office were somewhat dubious. One of her
co-workers finally asked, “OK … what’s the capital of
Wyoming?”

To which she smugly replied, “W.”

church and state

There has been much debate over the years about what the founding fathers meant about the separation of church and state. In recent times there has been much disinformation about how they actually believed, especially George Washington. In this short Ebook the author tries to explain how they actually felt.

Old People and Conservation

Conservation the old fashioned way.

Re-posted this, thought it was good.

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the older
woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags
weren’t

good for the environment.
The woman apologized and explained, “We didn’t have this green thing back in my earlier days.”
The young clerk responded, “That’s our problem today. Your generation
did not care enough to save our environment f or future generations.”
She was right — our generation didn’t have the green thing in its day.
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to
the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and
sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over.
So they really were truly recycled.

But we didn’t have the green thing back in our day.
Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we reused
for numerous things, most memorable besides household garbage bags, was
the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our schoolbooks. This
was to ensure that public property, (the books provided for our use by
the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to
personalize our books on the brown paper bags.
But too bad we didn’t do the green thing back then.
We walked up stairs, because we didn’t have an escalator in every store
and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn’t climb
into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.
But she was right. We didn’t have the green thing in our day.
Back then, we washed the baby’s diapers because we didn’t have the
throwaway kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling
machine burning up 220 volts — wind and solar power really did dry our
clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their
brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right; we didn’t have the green thing back in our day.
Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house — not a TV in every
room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember
them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen,
we blended and stirred by hand because we didn’t have electric machines
to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the
mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or
plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn’t fire up an engine and burn
gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human
power. We exercised by working so we didn’t need to go to a health club
to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she’s right; we didn’t have the green thing back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or
a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled
writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the
razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just
because the blade got dull.
But we didn’t have the green thing back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes
to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi
service. We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of
sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn’t need a computerized
gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in
space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn’t it sad
the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just
because we didn’t have the green thing back then?
Please forward this on to another selfish old person who needs a lesson in conservation from a smartass young person.
